Charles Turner
Hi, I think you've been having a conversation about your memorial for Charles Carr Turner and the possibility that he was the same person as Peter Turner (Charles was my relative, I posted the photo request).

Going back through my records, I thought I had something other than your memorial as a source for the middle name Carr, but I'm not finding anything. Did you create the memorial from his death certificate (which lists his name as Charles E.). Do you remember where you found the name Carr? I'm going to have to do more research on Pete.

Thanks for your help!

You are never a bother!
It appears to be fixed, because,
I only see one entry on all the memorials that you sent.

Thank you for all your work that you do on Find A Grave. Have a nice day!

This is my Great Grandmother's memorial. Please correct the spelling of her maiden name to Lamcke. You have it spelled Lameke, which is not correct.
Thank you

RE: Photo request
I put the photo out under the name Harriett Davis, which is the last name on the stone where she is buried. Funeral records indicate that Mr. Davis was her 1st husband. Apparently she has two pages one under the last name Fritz and one under Davis. I have added it to both pages now. Sorry for the confusion. Rick

Even if the link is just plain text it is not allowed on Findagrave. Links change over time. Please remove any plain text or hyper-links from memorial pages.

Thank you so much for getting me back to Findagrave. I am really attached to the Geo. Miller record. The cemetery was hard to get into as it is fenced and locked with cattle (including a bull) roaming. I slid under a gate as did my husband, keeping an eye out for the law as we did so. My husband and I traced the Miller family from Kentucky to Oklahoma, visiting each place they lived, stopping in small towns to visit little museums and speak to elderly people who had recollections of the family. We spent several days out at the site of the 101 ranch, Cowboy Hill, and the various museums that hold the ranch memorabilia. We visited the cemetery and graves in Ponca City where Miller family members are buried. The trip from our home in North Carolia to the sad remnants of the 101 is a treasured memory. If someone has something to add I have no problem with that, but I want to retain my record. It means a lot to me.

From the former, now

I am not still actively transcribing cemeteries and changed my E-mail address a while back to get rid of the nuisance messages. I wasn't thinking about losing my place in the Findagrave records and also at Rootsweb, it didn't occur to me. I also lost all my contacts so it was a big headache.

If you were messaging for a specific reason other than the name change please respond. If you know how to get my cemeteries changed over to my new E-mail I would appreciate it.
