All this info is rolling around in my head and it must be true. Can I see your mothers Find A Grave page? Leon must have been two timing because he wed Winnie 6-10-20 and your mom was born in 1920. They had two boys and Emily in 1926. My mom Lois was born two months before and they were cousins and friends for life. I call Emily every month because she became my surrogate mother after mine passed. I'm undecided if I should discuss this with her. If Marion heard that Leon had a baby she probably did ask if it was true. She would have been living at home then because she wed in 1922. What happened to mom and baby? Did she marry someone else and have more kids? The whole thing is a tragic story because Leon and Winnie both died in 1928. The two boys were sent to favorite Aunt Bessie and Emily was sent a childless aunt and uncle who treated her like a slave. She left at age 15 and met the love of her life Al. If you want to message more you could use my email firstname.lastname@example.org. Karen
Got your message today. Somehow the names you're using are generations apart. My Leon Cooke died in 1928 and his daughter Emily is now 90. My grandma Marion died 1996 at age 98 1/2. Karen Casterline Herzog

Hello H Miller
These are my grandparents. I would love to share any info we may have on the family. Am trying to find out more about John Duncan and Jennette Muir - Mary Agnes parents. Thank you for the findagrave info. My name is Sheri Anderson.

Hi H. Miller, We, Grand Traverse Area Genealogical Society, were told that at one time that Wells Miller and several others lived in Section 30 of Glen Arbor Township in Leelanau County and that there is a family burial ground somewhere on that section. Have you heard anything about a cemetery there? Our society is keeping records of people who are buried in Grand Traverse and Leelanau Counties for people who do family research in those counties. If there was a cemetery on Miller Hill Road or one of the nearby roads we would like to know. Understanding that if there was a cemetery it is no longer in use or perhaps the graves have been moved. Any idea about these pioneer folks? Mary Briggs, past president of GTAGS.

|Wayne Miller||RE: Schneider|
We are related to John Snyder B 1805 in Switzerland D 1880 in Churchville, Monroe county NY. He married Mary Eaton. They and had a son John that we do not know any info about. Some Snyder's we are told went to Michigan. This could be a connections. Note some of the family spelled their name Schneider and others Snyder. We are related to Nicholas Schneider from Titusville, Pa. I have more info if you would like it.
