I was raised in Bradford Co., PA on a farm. My interest in genealogy was sparked by my lack of grandparents on my father's side, since he was adopted. So I traced my Rockwell side back to the Rev. War. I like historical research, so what better place to focus my interest on - cemeteries. My wife's ancestors are from Sullivan Co., PA so my main focus is on Bradford & Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania. I am on the findagrave.com volunteer photographer e-mail list so will take a photo for you when requested.|
You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for personal uses. It takes much time and effort to locate, process, and post these images I have posted, so I expect and appreciate the courtesy of citing your source!
If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me. If any are a relative of yours and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.

At your convenience, Lyle, would you kindly add a photo of my sister's tombstone next to our parents' gravesite in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery outside Dushore, PA? It sits on the flat part on top of the hillside facing the dirt road. I would greatly appreciate it, as it will soon be 2 years & I have not been able to visit the cemetery.

I was trying to decide if I was looking at the correct mother and father as there are several
Purl/purley Johnson listed .
|Fred/Kathy||Altheda Johnson Bennett|
hello - I added an obit for this person and it lists Purl & Inez Johnson as mother and father - but the children and siblings do not agree - with the censuses showing with Purl and Inez
can you help me correct the differences ??
|rootbound||Ida M Granger 1857-1903|
In regards to the marker for Ida M Granger at Riverside Cemetery -- is there 100% certainty that this is a Granger by birth?
We are inclined to think it is Ida White, the first wife of Hiram Granger (who remarried and is buried with his 2nd wife Martha)
If there is documentation this is one of the Granger children and not Ida White Granger, could you point me toward it?

He married twice. Anna Horton, in 1808. After her death in 1836, he married Elsy Horton. They were not sisters. As far as I can tell, they were cousins, possibly 2nd or 3rd, definitely not 1st. Still researching.

I agree with you about Find A Grave system things appear to be happening slowly. I had the same thing happen to me. After searching, I found that a person who recently died was not on the system nor was her husband. I entered both then went to check on her son, needless to say I checked her son and found his was linked to his mother. I said what!! I went a checked and the mother and her husband had been enter about a 1000 numbers earlier but they did not show on my original search. I will transfer Lorena French to you.
