I will no longer contribute to FindAGrave. All my obituary contributions have been taken down with not even a courtesy email to have me save them first. I am retired and have been taking gravestone photos on my travels. NO MORE.|

|Jack Brannon||Baker Family|
You indicated that you are related to David Baker, Jr. 1868 - 1947. I am distantly related by way of the Awalt Line.
Do you have any information to share concerning David's siblings?
The picture posted on memorial 1266680209 is for the wrong Dorothy--it is the marker for Dorothy Rose (Kogl) who was married to Peter Reinert. The memorial that it is shown on now is for Francis's Reinert's wife, also named Dorothy.

|Doris Christensen||MARY (TEDFORD) DUNCAN|
By chance do you know any more about Mary? Photos of all gravestones in the Lewisburg Cemetery, Wayne Co., IA have been taken and none was found for Mary.
There are many memorials in the Wayne Co, IA cemeteries for a Mary Duncan and I've spun my wheels for hours searching census records.
The only Mary E. (Tedford) Duncan I can find was married to Andrew B. Duncan.
That information matches the dates that there are for Mary E. Duncan, Memorial #172984242, as also shown on the photo of her gravestone.
It shows Mary E. - wife of A.B. Duncan 1865-1916.
I can find nothing to match the dates that you have for her on your memorial so just wondering if you know where you got the dates from and if you might have any more information regarding her?
Just trying to clarify information for the various Mary Duncan memorials. It's confusing and frustrating!
Thanks for any help you can provide!

|Jean Wilson||Edward Burke|
I have been asked to walk the blocks at St. Ambrose and review the cemetery records to try and get a more accurate list of burials in St. Ambrose in Des Moines. While reviewing the Burke family, I came across your report on Edward Burke. There was no date of birth, location nor photo. I was unable to see where you found his name, as he's not listed in the city cemetery record for any of the cemeteries, nor in an old burial record for St. Ambrose of burials before 1920. I searched Ancestry, but couldn't find him in Des Moines. There was one in Jasper Co., but without a birth year or middle initial, it was hard to trace him. There were several Ed. Burke's and they died about the same time, but elsewhere. So, I would appreciate it if you would let me know where you received this information. If there is no proof he is buried in St. Ambrose, I would appreciate you taking out this report so we can make the most accurate list of the burials as possible. Thank you.
