Ian Macaulay of Ottawa, Canada
Hello, I am recording all "Macaulay" (Macauley, Mcaulay, etc) genealogy.
I would be most interested in any leads, comments, corrections etc.
I would be more than happy to communicate and discuss data. Please feel free to drop me a note
Any and all Macaulay or Mcaulay relation transfers will be gratefully accepted and I will maintain and care for them properly.
If you would like one of my non Macaulay memorials. please ask.

as an FYI
I found in Winslow Cemetery another half dozen or so undocumented McAulay/MacAulays and took their picture.
Would you like me to send them to you?

My pleasure Ian. It was a great day for photography and the sun was shining bright.

Hi there! I see you are interested in the Macauley family. My Grandmother was Margaret Julia MacAuley, married to Leland Irving Nichols from Farmersville, NY. I wondered if you are a distant relative of mine. :)

You're very welcome. I did a name search for Macaulay and Macauley in Rosedale and Rosehill Cemetery and Helene's burial is the only one to show up.

Alas the I was not able to find the other ones you are looking for. I will have another hunt in the sections I have not searched when I visit again.
There was a smaller stone at the foot of the memorial, and I have added it today (181127729).

Fixed the name, I appreciate the kind words in your edit. Sometimes I do too many at once and that's when the mistakes happen.

Hi Ian-You also wanted a picture of Robert Macaulay's marker. It is mostly covered by a large lilac bush with the back of the stone exposed. The stone is in great condition. I tried to push branches aside to get a picture of the front but the bush was to thickly grown to get a clear picture. Do you want copies of the pictures I took anyway? I am going back to Alberta in September and will be in Drumheller as I have many past relations buried there (No Macaulays).I might be able to get permission to clear away some of the shrubbery and get a picture, if I have your ok. Donald's stone sits in front of it around 6 ft away. It is in some danger of being damaged as it is pushed up out of the ground. I have a picture of that as well, if you want it.- Rick
