Nathaniel Stoddard #40114655
I am a direct relative of Nathaniel Stoddard and would love to know where you found the information on the grave #40114655 for his death. My family records show a death of about 1834 instead of the date you have. Several of my cousins are searching for information on Nathanel. His wife, Jane McManagle (changed to McMann) re-married in 1835 to Azra Judd Jr.
I would appreciate any help you can give me. Please email me at eagar.ac@gmail.com

#51868553, John J Tracy
John J Tracy was my gr grandmother's younger brother. His father is John Michael Tracy of Ireland, mother Rebecca Ryan and had 2 older siblings, my Gr Grandmother Mary Tracy and Rebecca Tracy Ryan. Father, J M Tracy was a Civil Engineer who travelled the world with working on the Siberian Transcontinental Railroad and living in Riga, Riga, Latvia at the time of his sister Rebecca and his births being also in Riga, Latvia. Eldest sister, Mary Tracy was born in Liverpool, Lancaster, England and married Edward Jerome Roberts. There are various birthdates for Mary Tracy as names and ages in various documents and a "life history" written about her husband, but never published, are used.

John's mother, Rebecca Ryan Tracy died when John was a small child at sea when John Tracy was finished with his job for the Transcontinental RR. I have been searching since 1975 for proof of a lot of information gaps to back up the information of my paternal great grandmother.

Help to find a grave
Hi, I am looking for info on Memorial # 114660896 (Anna Catharina (Schoffin) Lutz). You indicate she is in the First Reformed Church Memorial Garden, but they do not have a record of her there. They told me that many of the old graves were moved from their former cemetery to the Lancaster Cemetery some time ago, but she is not listed there either. Do you have any ideas? Thank you. Karl

Ruth Harmon Sheldon memorial #39489438
Please add Ruth Smith as the daughter of Ruth Harmon and Simeon Smith. Find A Grave Memorial# 61930198

Simeon Smith had one daughter, Ruth Smith. His widow, Ruth Harmon Smith, then married Phineas Sheldon. Phineas took control of the property of Simeon Smith after he married Simeon's widow Ruth Harmon Smith. Simeon's daughter Ruth grew up and married Seth Viets and in 1771 Seth and Ruth Smith Viets of Symsbury in the county of Hartford sued Phineas Sheldon " as he is administrator in right of his wife Ruth on the estate of one Simeon Smith of said Suffield, deceas'd, father of said Ruth Viets." The suit read that Phineas Sheldon

"had received sundry sums of money due to said estate and other effects, as also the use and profits of certain lands the proper estate of the said Simeon, which he had never exhibited to the court of probate or ay way accounted for, which belong to the petitioners in right of the said Ruth Veits, she being the only child and heir of the said Simeon; and whereas a committee hath been appointed to hear and examine the several matters alleged and complained of and have now reported the same with their opinion thereon, and the same being accepted and approved &c., as per memorial &c.: Resolved by this Assembly, that the said Phineas Sheldon shall pay to the said Seth and Ruth Veits the sum of 48 pounds 11 0, lawful money, and that upon the said Seth and Ruth Veits making and tendering to the said Ruth, wife of the said Phineas, a lease of one third part of a certain piece of land situate in Sandisfield in the Province of the Massachusets Bay, being lot No. 12 in the first division, being the estate of the Simeon, securing to her the use and improvement thereof during her life, or lodging said lease in the hands of the Secretary of this Colony for the use of the said Ruth Sheldon, that the Secretary shall grant to them, the said Seth and Ruth Viet, an execution in due form of law against the said Phineas Sheldon for the aforesaid sum and for such sum of costs as may now be allowed against him. Cost allowed petitioners in 27 pounds 2 8, lawful money, Execution granted Nov. 4th 1771."

In other words, the court granted money compensation to Ruth Smith Viets and her husband Seth Viets and in return they agreed to lease one-third of a parcel of land to Ruth Smith Viets' mother, Ruth Harmon Smith Sheldon, for her use during her lifetime.

There are memorials for Joseph (#109573397) and Mary (#109573404) Anna Smith Kershner. You have posted pictures of them to the memorials. Just wondering if you are related to the Kershners?

Isaac Nance #39694864
Could you please add his mother Amy Williams Nance to his memorial. Amy's memorial is #36961175. You have his father Reuben Nance already on there. I recently got findagrave to transfer Amy's memorial to me so I could activate it, correct it and continue adding information to it.
Thanks so much, Kathy Wells
