Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm happy to make corrections and add information or family links to any of the memorials I've created. Please use the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner created for that purpose. In most cases I follow Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Justifying out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information doesnt work. I am perfectly capable of doing this, as I do this several times daily/weekly. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision and everyones loss.

Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.

Most updates, corrections and links are done within a week, many are done within minutes. If the changes arnt made in 10 days please send another msg, the e-mail gods may have eaten the first one. Guidelines do suggest a member send no more than 20 per week, but I have yet to be overwhelmed by changes. Send what you need to complete a project and I will deal with it. My objective is getting memorials, and cemeteries as accurate and complete as humanly possible.

No Cemetery.

People who have large numbers of no name cemeteries are, in my opinion, abusing the system created by Find-A-Grave. To make memorials and wait for others to spend the time adding the proper memorial then claiming yours to be a duplicate is wrong on any number of levels. If you have large numbers of no cemetery memorials be forewarned, I will not delete any memorial because of your abuse.

I will not link to burial unknown or no cemetery unless it fits the criteria set by the site:
Under the new guidelines, burial unknowns are subject to removal after 30 days.

My photos are free to use for personal uses such as books and personal web sites as long as they remain un-edited. Do Not Remove my name. I do not allow my work to be published on paid sites. If you are unsure about this please email me with your request. Some of the photos are very old digital and there is no way for me to get better quality. However, the large majority are made with professional gear. If you have a project where you need high quality photos let me know.

Anne Patterson memorial
I noticed that for the memorial for Frank Bubak (20046308) Anne Patterson is listed as his spouse. She was not his spouse. I think what has happened is that Anne Patterson's memorial number is just one number different than Frank's real wife, Helen M Bubak ( 110071024). Anne's is 110070024.

Birth date for Joe Ureta
Hi, My name is Richard Lopez, my Uncle Joe Ureta Is buried in Woodville Cemetery, You have his date of birth missing from your information. I have it for you if you wish to update it. It's Nov 3rd, 1927.
He was my mother's favorite brother. Her name was Hortensia Ureta Lopez, He had 3 sisters in all, My mother, Anna Ureta Kellum, and Julia Ureta Valenzuela, and two Brothers, Ernest G. Ureta and Robert G Ureta. sadly all have passed away but are survived by their children, Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Unfortunately I never knew my Uncle Joe, and that is a shame, but through Ancestry, Find a grave and other sites, I am finding family members and relatives and information that I did not have before. Thank you sir for taking the time to add information to my Uncles site. I appreciate you.

Colon Settle
I am enquiring about Colon Settle in Dawson Creek cemetery in Peace River, BC
I have recently connected him to his parents Henry S Settle and Ollie Pickens Jowell.
I have sent you their memorial #'s by edit process.

My question is; where is his wife Stella Mae Cameron buried? Are you family, if so I would like to cooperate to help find her. I am no expert in Canadian research but have some experience in US. I am drawing a blank in finding her as I am assuming he came up to Canada from his home in Tulia, Swisher county, Texas, USA where he was born in 24 December 1896.
I have found him on the 1900 Census, 1910, Census, both Swisher county Texas and the 1916 Canadian Attestation--draft registration.
So I haven't connected him to Stella, but assume she was Canadian.
Can you help please?
Thank you for all you do for findagrave. It truly provides the link to many people who may be far away from the place they are researching family. I live in Florida USA.

Albert Frans Sorenson
Hello Scott, You have listed Albert Frans Sorenson as Albert Florian Sorenson. The headstone is a combined stone for brothers Roy and Albert. The headstone clearly says Albert Frans Sorenson.
Their also was a brother Florian Sorenson. I cannot find where he is buried.
Is Florian perhaps buried there at the Exeter Cemetery is why this confusion occured. The three brothers were Albert, then Florian then Roy. I believe that Florian also died as a young child but have yet to find his death certificate. They are cousins to my husband. I have found them all in the 1910 census with their parents.
Scott thanks for any assistance you can give. I deeply appreciate all the work you have done on the Exeter Cemetery!
