She was cremated and cremains scattered in her summertime lake. Here is the link to where you can read where Martin scattered her cremains

Hello Heather,
Thank you for this memorial for your father. I want to salute all Marines.
I also knew your mother, though not well. We had friends in common.

Ralph Elbertson
His memorial is now available at Chestnut in New Jersey... A lady who took photos of My grandmother Mabel Warner (Elbertson) took one for Ralph too and posted...Did you ever get the pics and did your mom see them yet?

RE: I think we share some family...
thats great, good to hear from you too! Yes, I will scan the 2 photos, and upload them soon. I have to unpack them at the house. They were aquired by my father, Glendon Sr. because he was the son of Mabel V. Elbertson. His older Half-Sister, Mildred Wood had them and wrote on them. Now with these generations being born during war eras, it has been quite a challenge figuring out some of these links. Maybe Mabel was married to someone before Glenn Sr, my dad and your mom might know...Would be cool to hear about...especially since my parents and most of thier siblings have past away..

Right now i have been tracing My Father's parents and the male warner line in my blood. I have got great evidence and facts to link me to Cornelius Warner who was born in the ealy 1800's...but i estimate that any further will just be guessing, not fact...

Next I want to trace my Dad's mom's roots which is the Elbertson Family. Just real quickly I was able to link up Robert, Ralph, and Mable through the US census reports. Thier Parents, George E. and Julia F. (McCoy) were listed as the parents. but i currently stopped there. Maybe your mom might know some family line in there somewhere and that would be great.

Thanks again and I'll have those pictures soon...

Best Regards,
Glenn Warner III

I think we share some family...

I recently found Ralph E. Elbertson's memorial here. I think we all might have a family connection explained below...

If this is the Ralph E Elbertson I am looking for, he will have Robert E. Elbertson AND Mabel V. Elbertson as a brother and sister. Mabel V. was buried as a Warner at the same cemetery Ralph is buried. Mabel V (Elbertson) Warner is my grandmother, my father's mother (Glendon L. Warner Sr.).

And Ralphs parents Should be George E. Elbertson and Julia F. (McCoy) Elbertson. They were married on 1/28/1893 according to New Jersey Marriage certificate records, married in New Gretna township, New Jersey.

That being true I should be Ralph's great or grand nephew, however that works. More or less, My grandmother's brother... Let me know if this is the right person. I have 2 very old photographs of 2 different elbertsons i know nothing about...

Thanks so much...

Best Regards,
Glendon Warner
