Meldrum Family
Hi, Susann.
Thank you SO MUCH for posting the information from the "Records on Interments" for Hollywood Cemetery in Houston. I can't tell you how long I've been searching for my MELDRUM ancestors.
You mention the plots for the 3 "children" (David J., Jennie and John H.) were paid for by their mother, Nancy Marie (Stark) Tompkins. Do you have any idea where she might be buried?
Thanks a million for all your work on FindAGrave.

Thank you for adding the Obit. I was happy to find it. It solved some missing pieces of a puzzle for me. I could not find burial or death for her husband yet.Thank you for your kind help.

RE: 157486377 Lula Mae Bodry White
It doesn't matter. If you need to get rid of some feel free to transfer. Otherwise, I don't care. Thanks for all you have contributed to Find a Grave.

Thanks for the good research you did on this woman and including it in the bio. I was having a hard time finding her. Joseph Thomas White was my grandmother's brother, and I wanted to get it right. I was having a hard time because I have not yet found a marriage record, and there is another Lula Mae who married a Jefcoat. You saved me a ton of time.

RE: Walter C. Gunn - Memorial # 57806683
Thank you for offering p, but actually I'm not. I simply did a local memorial that turned out to be one of those things where you find most of the family not memorialized, not linked and sadly seeming sort of forgotten. So my OCD kicked into overdrive and I connected the whole family --now if everyone will just follow up on my edits so my work's not in vain! It was a very large family. Best to You in your work and . . . Happy Trails, Nancy

Walter C. Gunn - Memorial # 57806683
Hi, Susann - I looked at his WWI Draft Registration and I also viewed the original in his own hand which clearly shows an 'a' in Claudy, and below this the 1910 census showing where as a boy the family called him Claudy. I know it's spelled "Cloudy" in some other places, but the spelling where he actually wrote his name himself showing very plainly the 'a' was what did it for me. I don't know if you're Family to him or not, but I made the suggestion because of his own handwritten name, and you can look perhaps and decide. Happy Trails, Nancy

RE: Abram B. Ringo
Hi Susann,
Thanks for responding. It's okay to leave it Eliza Barnes and for you to keep his memorial. I have a strong belief that is the right maiden name. I just thought maybe you knew something I didn't know. Actually, I was on Family Search when I saw Eliza E. Barnes, and the person noted that her source was "Find a Grave." Anyway, maybe someday I'll find something that will confirm or deny it. Thank You!

Abram B. Ringo
Hi Susann,
I am the great-granddaughter of Abram B. Ringo. His daughter Sarah Ann was born abt 1881. She always said she was an orphan, but knew her father's name was Abe Ringo from Texas. I have searched for many years now for her mother and I found Eliza E. as wife of Abram in the 1880 census. It seems highly likely that this Eliza may be Sarah's mother, but the 1890 census records were destroyed in a fire, and I have found nothing else to indicate what Eliza's maiden was. You have "Eliza E. Barnes." I'm wondering where you learned this. I would be so appreciative if you can give me any information on this, as it has been a mystery in our family for many years. Carol
