The son of a career US Air Force pilot (KIA Vietnam), I am a retired US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, and a retired Contract Administrator/negotiator/writer for the nuclear power industry.
My interest in family research and cemeteries goes back to my teen years and my mother's interest in the subject. Every summer was spent in Mississippi at the old (ca. 1835) plantation home owned by my grandmother and her brother.
My goal here is to document, through personal visits and photography, all known cemeteries in a two county area in Mississippi. I will also include cemeteries that were at one time surveyed along with the recorded graves, but that I cannot (and others) locate after diligent search.
I gladly will transfer memorials to family members within FAG Guidelines, and may also consider transfer requests from others with a pressing need. I also solicit any and all corrections and expansion of the data I enter (I am not a perfect typist).

Hi Mr Rucker,
The graves in the Darden-Killingsworth cemetery are my husbands direct ancestors. The grave ID 60273180 Noel Killingsworth is his 3rd great-grandfather and ID 60271806, for Annapias and 60271460 for Matilda are his great-great grandparents. I sent you an email with a question and pictures we took of the site in the 1990s. Look forward to hearing back from you.

|Robert Abney||Bolls Cemetery|
Do you think a group of cemetery restoration folks, Southern Historical & Restoration Network, could gain access to the Bolls (James) Cemetery out from Fayette to restore and add (VA) markers? Robert
|John Van Zandt||Correction for Edwin's Memorial|
In my last requested corrections, Edwin's mother was listed as his spouse. His memorial # 117553784 and his mother, Jane # 117553394. Please correct this to list her as Mom, and not as his spouse, as I listed her in the wrong box on relationships.
Thank you, John.
|J Pickle||Robert Ray - Waterloo cemetary damaged military grave|
I have information on a damaged grave at the Waterloo cemetery in Mississippi. The grave belongs to a Robert Ray.
According to a written affidavit, the grave was identified by Robert Dudde on 8-17-1941 in response to a request by a Mrs Comfort. See link- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GP3S-KH9?i=34&wc=9B4C-ZV3%3A211900201%2C212085201%3Fcc%3D1919687&cc=1919687

Find A Grave Memorial# 60273924
Do you have any more information on Elizabeth Scott wife of James Scott late of South Carolina. I think she may be in my direct line but I need to know some dates for her. I would be connected through the Scott line. You say part of the stone was buried but I hoped you might have found some dates on it. I know I am grasping for a straw but thanks anyway.
|Benjamin Rice||Bennye Chatham (# 83941057 )|
I have sent a previous message concerning Bennye
Rice Chatham ( #83941057 ). Please link her mother
Mary Elizabeth Burnett Rice ( #23999783 ) to her
memorial. The family wishes her to show up as a
sibling. I have helped with all other siblings
that have passed on. She shows up with her father.
Thank you for your help.
