I sure remember Delbert bet I haven't seen or talked to him in 20+ years. I also know Lee Reising and Jack Bill to name a few Corydon people. No hurry on picture I just didn't want to take your picture on his wife's grave.

Russell, my mother was Mary Rita Detroy Hettich. Her parents were Rudolph & Margaret ( Maggie Lee). Maggie's first husband was Tom Gogan who died. Jack, Tom Jerry & Margaret were half siblings to my mother. If I am remembering correctly I believe you are somehow related to Mary Davis Richardson, Jack's first wife. I would to see & perhaps make copies of some of the pics you have of my uncles & grandparents. I remember Jack took a lot of pics & I believe somehow that those are what you have. Would love to compare information with you.

Birthplace of Mrs Dianne Spencer Vicks
Hi sir,

I see you have stated that Mrs Dianne Spencer Vicks was born in 1768 at Bath, in Beaufort County, North Carolina.

She is my fourth great-grandmother, via Courtney Kennedy Sawyer. I would be very interested in any information you have for these folk, in particular, your source for Dianne Spencer's birthplace. The one piece of information I have for her is from a document I received from my father, titled "Dempsey Sawyer Family History", by Beulah Mary Pierce Chumn. Here is the section for her:

"Dina Spence was born in Wales, married 4 times. Dina was a descendant of Mary, Queen of Scotland, daughter of James V of Scotland 1542. Dina owned 200 slaves. Daughter, Courtney Kennedy married Dempsey Sawyer. Dina married Joseph Vick, November 13 or 15 1822 or December 1824. Joseph Vick was born in Sampson County, North Carolina, February 19, 1762. Mary Equals, sister of Joseph Vick, lived in Logan County, Kentucky. Joseph Vick enlisted in Revolutionary War June 1781 and served 14 or 15 months. He received a Revolutionary War pension in 1853. Died in 1873, buried in Buchanan Cemetery, Murfreesboro Road. DAR tablet erected in his memory. Dina Vick was born 1756, died October 19, 1871-age 115 years old. Buried in Dempsey Sawyer Cemetery."

Thank you very much in advance for any information you can send.

Thanks to your reply, I knew you had found it somehow and I could not. I was looking for Hershel and it was Vershel Morris.
