|In the course of researching my family history I discovered Find A Grave and joined in order to enter memorials for my ancestors. I currently have significant family care giving responsibilities and cannot spend as much time as I'd like on my hobbies. As a result I'm not actively photographing and transcribing any cemeteries. |
From time to time I enter memorials based on my online genealogical research and obituaries.
I'm happy to transfer graves to family members.

|Carrie and Allen 💕||RE: Erma E Johnson Memorial|
According to the Belcrest Cemetery plot book, there is only one Erma Johnson in this cemetery. It's always possible that someone else among the dozens of Johnsons in that cemetery also went by Erma, but it's not all that likely from what I see.
If you have Erma's obit, I'd be happy to add it to her memorial along with any other information.
|Kimberly A. Ellsworth||Headstone - Mary Wise Hickey|
I just wished to change her death date to what the headstone says - 1865. And Mary Wise's married name is Hickey, not Hickey Mannix. Headstone shows her DAUGHTER Margaret married a Mannix (our 3rd great grandfather) not Mary Wise Hickey herself marrying a Mannix. If my requests were declined for other factors, please let me know. Thanks for your help.

I see what you're saying in regards to William J. Elliott's memorial. Good catch. I have removed the incorrect memorial, and see that you submitted to have the actual W.J. Elliott linked to his parents. Thank you!

Thank you for the info on Jackson Roberts.
As the old saying goes, you just never know.

My family web site:
Have a look around.
I do not "willy nilly" post information, I have been at this since the early 1980's(showing my age :-) I have done the most research on the Blankenship Family on my direct line which is Barnett Blankenship & Bersheba Meador, parents of Greenville "Green" Blankenship.

You have his grandmother Amanda Pelcha listed as his mother. Please make correction
|Laura Elliott||RE: James Frank Elliott in Mt Pelia cemetery|
Thank you for the information. I have an Ancestry membership. I have a death date of 29 Jan 1912 for Sarah Seder. I have not verified it though. I found the date on familysearch.org through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of which I am member.
|Kristy||RE: More Blankenships|
Julia /Judith Blankenship (1798) is almost the same age as Greenville's dad, Johnathan (1781) and they would have to be related to both end up buried in the same cemetery. One of Johnathan's grandchildren lives right beside of Henley Webb, Jr. There is also a possibility she belongs to Richard Blankenship and wife Margaret. I am trying to find someone that has a copy of Richard's will from Gallia Co., Ohio from 1812. There is also an older Isam Blankenship that appears to be in the southern Ohio area too. Henley Webb's dad, Pleasant, lives near 1 of 3 Isam Blankenships (b. 1795) but I don't know who his dad is either. They all seem to stem from a Lodewick (seems to be the father of them all???), Richard (above), older John, and Beverley that show up in early Greenbrier Co., Va. taxlists and court records. That's about all I know.

I have seen your memorial for Greenville Blankenship (1816-1890), son of Johnathan Blankenship (1781-1860) and am wondering if you are somehow related to them?
