Note: I am doing random corrections of memorials with no last name. |
Please let me know if any of my memorials need correction. If I've made a duplicate it was accidental and I'll gladly remove mine if you let me know. For corrections, to add additional information please use the Edit tab on the memorial.
PLEASE -- Don't scrape headstones or use shaving cream, chalk or anything else to "enhance" the inscription. Regardless of what you have been told it does not wash completely off and causes long term damage. There are other ways to get a good photograph without harming the stone. And even though it's sad, some markers will never be legible. If it's not yours, don't touch it.
I do NOT link to "burial unknowns"; however I will make appropriate notes in the bio field. Otherwise I'll gladly make family links.
If you would like to use my photos please ask first. I will almost always give permission as long as photo credit is given to the Find A Grave memorial.
Many thanks to all who have helped me along the way. I hope to be able to pay it forward.

Thank you. It was a partial. My computer shut down unexpectedly and I didn't realize it saved a portion of it.

Thanks for the clean-up.
|MARILYN McCARTY||RE: Duplicate for Bonnie Lou and Catherine|
Thank you so much - this helped immensely. I was able to see a few other partial duplicates that I needed to delete as well.
I don't understand the difference between the purplish and the blue ink that Find A Grave uses on the names. I see the color differences on names that I've submitted for edits, and also in other areas. Do you know if Find A Grave has a legend where they explain the use of different-colored ink?

Thank you for noticing my duplicates at Memphis Memory
Gardens in Tennessee. You mentioned that I had created TWO duplicates for each of these. I have removed ONE for each, and don't know how to find the others. Could you please help me? Thank you.

Thank you for alerting me to an incomplete memorial. I appreciate your work on Find A Grave.
Thank you for catching this duplicate. I see I'm not the only one making this mistake as many others are thanking you for catching their duplicates. I don't know how you do it, but thank you for doing this and for everything else you do for findagrave.
|Karon Bennett||Pauline Andrew|
I'm going through the family Bible/tree and making sure my sources match with what's on Find A Grave. When I see an orphan, I can't help but put them with their family. My apologies! I had a dyslexic moment and misread the birth date for Pauline Andrew. I submitted Parents for her, then realized I submitted them for the wrong person. Could you please delete them for me? I will find the correct Pauline Andrew in time.

Thanks for the note of duplicates for this listing in the Pine Grove Cem.
