Berlin Flora
I am wondering if this was Constable Flora of Smithsburg mentioned in the history of Smithsburg on their website. I found his name on a land deed. A parcel of land was given to a Belvin Flora down on the White Hall just north of Keiffer-Funk Rd by William Hyuett in abt 1878(in his estate). It was parceled into three lots. One of which was my grandparents. I am thinking this is the same guy.

Sarah Yeager Kerlinger
Hi Grace,

I research the name Yeager and came across memorial #142653501 Sarah Yeager Kerlinger. Do you happen to know where her mother Fannie Barncord Yeager is buried? Sarah's father Jeremiah is buried in St Thomas, PA.

RE: McFerren
Hi! Re those census takers, they probably asked where did your family come from...and some respondents said, Ireland.

We think we have found Peter McFerren's (1812-1898)
father and mother, and will be linking them up soon!

So far, we have only Samuel's and Peter's military service connection.

But we have DNA proof data from to Peter's Mother (a Fetterhoff) and wills of land from Peter's Father (1792).

Cheers & Thanks!

I am posting a photo of the spot where she is buried. Her grave is unmarked but is next to her father's marker. You can see the relationship of one to the other in the photo
