|Monte Preabt||Charlie Luken|
Hello Kaye, I have a picture of Fern Luken Rea, married to a General Weaver Rea. On it is written
"my cousin". And I believe that cousin is a Lena Preabt Paschke Meyer. She is my Grand Aunt, which makes you and I 3rd cousins. My research is lurching along at a snails pace and was looking for help from you. You have what seems to be alot of info on Charlie Luken. I think he is my great grandmothers brother. She is Anna Wilhelmine Luken. I have a letter written by my Grandfather, which he was asked to put down some family as he remembers it. Minnie Luken sisters and brothers.
So I am interested in your mention of Elizabeth Husemann as a mother to Charlie Luken. Do you have more on that line? She would be my 2nd great grand mother if I figure correctly.
my email is email@example.com

I definitely want to keep in touch with you. I strongly suspect the lady contacting you is one of our group from "The Anoka History Group". We are an informal group that has met on the internet via e-mail. When one of us has a project, we e-mail our group with our questions and whoever has leads toward information will respond to the whole group. I have files on about 300 surnames in Boyd County that we have discussed over the past 10 years. One of our key treasure memories passed on this last month so we are limping without her. Another has succumbed to Alzheimer's but has documents his wife is able to share. Also, yes, I am studying your data surrounding Anna Emily (Walker) Read. The Hammerluns and my dad's father were neighbors in Svensköp, Sweden, then in Burt County, NE and later in Boyd County, NE. So I have keen interest in this family.

Your work with this family is fantastic! Thank you for adding all their information to Find-A-Grave. I work with a group of folk from Boyd County, Nebraska who are interested in the history of this area - our primary interest is in Anoka but we dabble into family histories for the whole county.
My involvement that lead to your work was through Anna H. Hammerlun who married Clinton Read. Their infant son is shown to be buried in Old Settler's Cemetery near Anoka (there is some question that this burial might be in the Anoka Lutheran Cemetery instead - still trying to verify).
Your attention to details have been most helpful to me. Thank you.
Transfered to you...
Kaye, All is transferred to you. Good luck on all your future searches.

Well, Find A Grave merged mine and Brian Hass site for Amanda E. Mickel Williams. We can now add information.
Kaye--the number you sent me to attach Bonnie's father was her number. Took me awhile to find her father, but think I did, if you want to check it. I was looking for Harley, not Harlan. You did a good job on Charles' memorial. I love the pictures!
