I am retired and live in Central North Carolina. I have been doing family research for 40 years. The internet just makes it easier to look for dead relatives, but you still have to make sure the information is correct.
Some of my favorite cemeteries are Bonaventure in Savanah, Ga, Allegheny in Pittsburgh, Pa and Oakdale in Wilmington, NC. I love the old statues and the hidden meanings of different designs of headstones.
All photos submitted by me are copyrighted by me, no use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent.
Transfers: Transfers outside Find A Grave guidelines will be assessed on a case by case basis. Please tell me your specific relationship to the deceased.
I am glad to enter corrections, links and additional information. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial and click on the Suggest a Correction link. Do not email transfer requests or corrections. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial.
ADDENDUM: Photographs I have taken at burial locations may be used by others for any legitimate purpose. Hopefully, I would be given credit for the work. Personal photographs I have added to memorials that I created and maintain, remain in my control and are considered copyrighted materials. I hope that you will enjoy viewing the personal photographs I have posted.
On May 28, 2017 my beloved husband died suddenly and unexpectedly. Please visit his memorial and leave a token. He was a very special, kind and loving man. I was fortunate to have known him 44 years and been with him 42.
Please visit my dear friend Pam who died much too soon.

Thanks for the Family Lore info on Peggy (Maggie) - I love these little tidbits!
Still recovering from the worst snowstome for a 24 hour period in history. 35.5 inches buried my little car. Now we have the meltoff and rain with possible flood conditions near the rivers (not where I live).
Finally got my MIL into the Mayflower society after nearly 10 years (on and off). My wife and daughter got to join as well through her lineage to John Howland.
Still getting requests for pictures in these far fetched abandoned grave sites. Quite interesting, but a lot of work clearing brush to find the stones and try to get good photographs.
Busy busy busy.
By the way. Yes... I am Psycho.

Re: Find A Grave Memorial # 87474349
Hello fellow volunteer. This request is for use of the gravestone photo of William Boied Maness on my family tree. My tree is private. Little William would have been my grandmother's little nephew, had he lived. Pencie Ida Hill-Maness was her sister. Of course, as always, I would give credit to you for your photo, I am grateful that you took it! While I'm here, would you consider transferring his memorial to me? Kind regards, Kathryn (aka #47926535)

I have laid out the sources for John Wilson Moore, son of James N. Moore, and buried at Fifth Creek on wikitree https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Moore-30166. He was not in the 1850 Census with his parents because he was not born until the end of the year. He was a Batchelor and died in Winston Salem.
There is another person, John Wesley Moore, who had a mother named Carah living with him in 1880. He is buried in Proximity cemetery. I don't know who his father was. I put his sources and known family on wikitree at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Moore-27532

My apologies! I didn't realize there was a limit of 20. I became fascinated with the cemetery over Thanksgiving and have been researching it. I won't send any more.

No problem at all. I actually work for Lafayette Memorial Park and came across this site and saw that people needed photos. It only takes me a second to walk out of the office and make someone's day. Let me know if I can help with anything at all!

Thanks, I know where Gilmer is, but some people go nuts if you don't have exact, LOL! Had one graver that argued because I could not put township in even though Find A Grave did list, bio was enough! Thanks again, enjoy the fall!

Hi -- thanks for your note. Since you aren't required to transfer to me by the site guidelines, my sister, Margie, will join Find-A-Grave and request transfer of the memorial to herself within Find-A-Grave guidelines, since she is Kristina's mother, and we will sponsor it and remove the ads. We very much appreciate the original page manager's creation of the memorial and your later adoption of it. It's nice of you to care. Our family's grief is never-ending, so you can imagine that Margie would like to take care of her daughter's memorial. We were able to figure out which of Margie's friends is your sister-in-law, and i have met her on occasion as well. Thank you.
