I follow the guidelines set by Find A Grave dealing with Transfers. I will make an exception on a case by case basis. However, those who are rude, or feel they have some kind of right, need not request.
I hate perpetuating errors that eventually get accepted as facts. DO NOT send me a birth date that is only sourced from a census record or is a calculation based on age at time of death.
Thank you to those who have left flowers for my 3 great loves, Dennisღ, Daddyღ and Mommaღ .

|Raymond Paul Kitchen III||I was searching for a|
I was searching for a great aunt, Margaret Dettore. I only found one. It's someone you posted with a death date and no birth date. The death date matches exactly with who I'm looking for. I was wondering if you had taken a picture of her grave marker? Here's her page on Find A Grave: https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Dettore&GSfn=Margaret&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=139835959&df=all&
|James Richards||RE: Vilieor Pizani - Duplicate|
I was in Lafitte to visit my son and grandchildren about six months ago. I used the Findagrave iPhone app satellite view to "see" the cemeteries in the area and selected Coulon to photograph. I am very certain that I was, in fact, at Coulon Cemetery and not Adams or LaFitte. My wife and I are going to visit there in two weeks and if there is time I will photograph the burials in Adams.
I looked at the app again tonight and found that Findagrave now shows two Coulon Cemeteries in LaFitte - the correct one with 145 burials and someone added a second one in another location with five burials. Not everyone understands how to put cemeteries in the right location in Findagrave.
|James Richards||Vilieor Pizani - Duplicate|
You have memorial for Vilieor Pizani. He is actually buried in Coulon Cemetery, a small cemetery in Lafitte, LA. I recently visited that cemetery (it is two blocks from my son's house), photographed the Pizani tomb, and added a memorial for Vilieor Pizani; however, a FindaGraver let me know mine was a duplicate. Would you consider moving your memorial over to Coulon Cemetery and let me know if you do so I can delete my memorial. Thanks.
I have finished transferring the memorials of the Graham family and extended members.
Thank you for agreeing to take them.
I was wondering if you you be willing to care for memorials I have created. I know you already have a lot and I would only be transferring the ones from the Missouri area. Most are related to James Graham in some way. Who is one of the memorials you created he is my 3rd great grandfather. I know you take great care of the memorials. I am no longer able to care for them and would prefer to choose someone I can trust.
|leonard cifelli||Trotta Family|
Thank you doesn't seem to be enough but Thank You VERY MUCH for the updates to the Trotta submissions I made. I was surprised to see the additional information that yo added. I have very found memories of my Grandfather and Uncle who lived next door to me when I was younger. You have left some info that perhaps only a family member might know or leave. Are we related? In any event thank you very much for your additions.

Gee, I wish I had such a positive, helpful response from all the many Find A Grave members I have been forced to talk to over the years.
You have answered all the questions I had re
Wm H and his wives and children. The key data point I was mission was that Raymond Donald and Carol May were the children of Joe Carl and Levo May Keester Thompson
When I looked at Wm H's memorial some years back, and did a brief sweep of the net, I remember reading about the story of his death. Just like Pearl Harbor all over again and a lot of good men lost their lives as a result.
WRT the Land of Smiles (LoS) the place has changed much over the years and not for the better. I'm in my 18th year living in Udon Thani with wife and 18 year old dau.
I really appreciate all you do for the individuals memorialized on Find A Grave. Pls continue your good works.
br, Mike Skelenger
|George Del Monte||RE: John Halpin's whereabouts|
Now, that was funny. Merry and I lived in Slidell, LA for 30 years so we know all about the older, buried coffins floating about in Nawrleans until they realized it was better to put them above ground. As soon as we get the word back from the only one (Allison) for which we have an eMail address and a telephone number, I'll get back to you - with whatever I learn.
|George Del Monte||John Halpin's whereabouts|
Dawna, in updating my genealogy database, I came across information that John James Halpin had died and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, New York. So I went to his memorial page (#171279323) and clicked on the button to request a photo of his gravestone. A Find A Grave volunteer went to the cemetery and came back saying the cemetery said John was not buried there. I'm perplexed. I've asked my wife to contact one of John's wife's sisters to ask if she knows where John's buried.
|B. C. "Bud" Hopkins||Jean and Marie Gusman|
Dawna, thank you so much for posting all the memorials (and others) in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Slidell, LA. Jean Gusman (#58455093) and his wife Anna Marie Candelaria Veillon (#58455053)are my wife's ggg grandparents. We recently visited their graves, along with others family members in the cemetery.
We have studied this family extensively over the last few years and your postings along with the cemetery visit have helped us greatly. We are requesting a transfer of these two memorials as we would like to add some biographical information to their memorials. I only post memorials for direct family lines along with their spouses and children, and only ask for transfers for the same. Thank you so much for considering this.
B.C. "Bud" Hopkins
