My name is David Griffin, born 5-12-1969 and I live in Brea, California at the time I write this. Family history is a passion of mine. I have traveled around the country in search of my ancestors and I have been pretty successful so far. My ancestral surnames include Barbee(later changed to Griffin), Knobloch, Overton, Tincup, Rutledge, Yarger, Newman, Brasier, Blanton, Copeland, Holloway, Newhouse, Lemon, Coon, Coffman, Wells, Smith, St. Clair, Colby, Nall/Nalle, Mott, Vance, Fleetwood, Cox, Bias, Morgan, Turner, Hukel, Wix, Farmer and many others I can't think of as of this writing. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you are a descendant of anyone that I post or add a photo to on this site. Thanks|

Hello, I noticed there is a picture of you posing by the tombstone of John Turner, so I am hoping that yo are related.
I am descended from Mary Elizabeth Turner and I am trying to identify her parents. The Find A Grave Memorial for John states he was married to Tabitha Moberly. Do you know if John was also married to Jane Cooper and that he and Jane were the parents of Mary Elizabeth Turner b. 1793 in Cocke County, Tennessee who married into the O'Dell family? This is what some trees on Ancestry are claiming, but this doesn't tie to his memorial on Find A Grave.
Thank you for your time,
Rhonda Hansch #4787888
I seen that you have Coon as one of the surnames that you are researching. Is that Coon Cherokee related as well. If so then we have another connection.

Hello, I seen your post to James Tincup memorial. James was the brother of Lucy who was my 4th great grandmother. Nice to meet and hope to share family information. Thanks, Ash.
