Charles B Allen
The Riley County Genealogical Society, Manhattan, KS researched the Palmers for their Pioneers of the Bluestem Prairie book. . Wihelmina F (Minnie) Palmer 1860-1949, married Charles Allen in 1888. They had one child: Gertrude Allen, who is buried with Minnie Palmer Allen Whelan in Sunset Cemetery in Manhattan, KS. I have a 'story' given to me by the director of the Riley County Genealogical Society on Charles if you wish to contact me.

Miller family links
I believe you are my 5th cousin once removed! Your ancestor Robert H Miller and my ancestor William Miller were brothers, sons of Robert & Jennett White Miller. I am interested in sharing information and preserving it for future generations. I would be happy to exchange anything I have with you if you are interested.

Chestina Bowker Allen
Dear Frank,
I enjoyed your memorial for Chestina...

I have discovered that the url for her recollections seems to have changed.
(they do, don't they)

If you want to replace the url with this would give others the same delight.

it will go immediately to the diary..

JUlia Ellen Cowell Westgate Bayles
I can find no record of Julia Ellen Cowell either as a Westgate or Bayles. There seems to be no indication that she was married to a Westgate, but she was married to Benjamin Bayles, who married Winifred Westgate after Julia's death. If you have other information that might help locate her in the Manhattan area, please let me know and I will search further.

Re: John Wagner
Thank you for making the changes. I was glad to be able to see Johny one of the last times he was able to come to Missouri to see the family. We had a big family reunion and of course, everyone had their musical instruments. Many of the family members played music and Johny was like the rest. Picking and grinning with the best of them. His mother and my father were brother and sister, and part of a family of 13 children. There were many of us at one time (45 grandchildren). Many now are gone.
