I started my family research in 1977 and have worked on it since. Your research is never "DONE" and I love it. It starts with a story and is backed up with all the records you can find, including cemetery records.

Find a Grave has allowed me to visit my ancestors in other areas that circumstances don't allow me to do.

Gary Barron
John & Ethel Barron
Hello Sharon,

I found the gravestone of my great uncle and aunt yesterday. I don't think that your grandmother (Anna Marguarite Barron) is related to John.

If I am wrong, please let me know the relationship.

John was the brother of my grandfather Charles. They were born in Washington County, MO. I am pretty sure that John and Ethel adopted their son, Thomas. I was hoping to connect with his children or grandchildren about the Barron Lineage. A cousin of my Dad told me that he had 2 daughters.

Thanks for any help!

I see you got transferred a bunch of the memorials and was curious how you tie into the family. I'm always looking for more contacts within the family.

Hello Sharon,

Do you still maintain this grave? My mother in law is Clifford's daughter and she is not listed as one of his children. How can she be added. She is living at this time.

Could this be the son of
Madison Hollingsworth 1815-1844
Mahala Maddy b.abt 1822
Both parents are born in TN

William Hollingsworth was b.abt 1839 in IL; is it possible the 1880 census could be incorrect showing him to be born in TN, living in Missouri River Valley, Meagher, Montana, United States?

Hoping you have information to share to confirm his parents, for there is much confusion on this one

Thank you in advance for any information you could provide

I am interested in the Little Bighorn battle and its history and somehow connected the linked Youtube item to your tribute.

Hello Sharon,

I have just posted a photo of Emmett Earl Roy's Montana Death Certificate on his memorial page - should you like to update his memorial with the additional info (dates, age & etc.) that is listed on it.

Fixing duplicate memorials?
A memorial that you now maintain (originally created by Jim Harrison) for Mabel Edwards Clift (my great aunt) in Stillwater County, Montana is a duplicate of one I created for her about a year ago when I first got on to F-A-G & was only figuring out how to use the system. The one you maintain was first entered, so I assume mine should be merged into that one. I wrote someone about it quite soon after I created mine & realized my error. I thought it had been taken care of, but find there are still two. Your memorial number is 73264956; mine is 166349094. I don't really know how to proceed now, but perhaps you do. I believe the death date on mine is somewhat more complete, but that's about all. There are some links I can add, but don't want to do more until the duplication issue is taken care of. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for transferring her grave site to me. I really appreciate it. As a first for me, is there anything I need to do besides to thank you?

I hope this finds you well. I am not sure how often you get to the Buffalo Cemetery but if you or anyone you know is going there, could you get the measurements for my father's grave stone? The current one is haggard and I want to replace it. I plan on going up the second week of July 2018. If this is something you can help with, I would greatly appreciate it. You can contact me at I can email a picture of the approximate area where the stone is. thank you in advance.
