Shiloh Cemetery in Marshall Co AL
There are 2 Shiloh Cemeteries, but the one I'm referring to is the one close to Guntersville. You took some of the pics in this cemetery. Wanted to ask you if this cemetery use to be grown up. I was out there the other day and there are several stones that were not noted on find a grave from this cemetery. I figured they were hidden in brush. It being winter now there is no growth, but it also looks like there has been some wind damage a and clean up around the cemetery has been done.

Ruth Boone, Shuman, Roberts, Hill
Mr. Bill Thrasher,

I have a friend on Facebook that recommends this web page. I came across my Aunt Ruth's Grave Stone, & am somewhat confused. The name & date seem somewhat off. She was born Ruth Truman (not E) Boone. Her Dad was Ransom T. Boone & her Mother was Nettie Boone (my Grandparents). Her first marriage was to G. B. Shuman, 2nd marriage was to Wm. Dius Roberts, & her third marriage was to Ray Hill. I've not heard of an Abner Hill unless that was his first or middle name. I know she was living in Dowling Park for several years before her death. I have her birthdate down as March 17th, 1916 - not December 7th, 1928. I know there is probably no way to change it now but, just wanted to add the right information. Loved her dearly!

Hi! My name is Tammy Thrasher Watterly and my father was John Jackson Thrasher born 1943 and died in 1993; his dad was Allison Sumpter Thrasher born in 1910 I think and died in 1977. I was also given John Uranus Thrasher and George Washington Thrasher. Is this the same family line you are relations to? Please feel free to contact me through this site or through my email: I look forward to hearing from you. I appreciate your time and assistance.

Levi Cook
Mr. Thrasher, Levi Cook in Wellborn Cem. has the wrong headstone picture, it's his dad's. Maybe he does't have one. Have a nice Thanksgiving.
