For the past 21 years I have been on the genealogy staff at the Mesa Arizona FamilySearch Library. We are a regional library of www.familysearch.org. Some of my specialties are internet genealogy research and U.S. military records. I also lecture and teach classes in the Phoenix area communities. I have 35 years of generalogy research experience.

I consider all transfers. I also reserve the choice to follow the 4 generations Find A Grave suggested transfer rules. Please list your profile name and number when requesting a transfer. Thank you.

Please use the memorial EDIT option to make all corrections, additions and transfer requests. Please list the name and memorial number when sending public messages. It is difficult to locate an individual without the memorial number.

If there are duplicate records in a cemetery, a request will be sent to Find A Grave to merge the memorials. All the information, photos, etc. will be preserved. Find A Grave will decide which memorial to keep, which usually is the memorial that was created first in the correct cemetery. This usually takes about 1-2 weeks.

Ova Norton Smith - FAG 33913081
Ova Norton Smith - 33913081

I am tracing an extended family - so this is not a direct ancestor.

However I notice that she is listed as having died in Newton County, Arkansas - where she came from - in the Find A Grave information.
Oct. 10, 2008
Newton County
Arkansas, USA

However the Social Security Death Index indicates she died as indicted below.

I didn't know if you knew this family personally / directly - or if the assumption was made that since she is buried in Newton County Arkansas that she died there. I don't know if this warrants a correction / addition or no.

Thank you for all that you do that helps so many fo us.

Transfer
Would you consider transferring Nehemiah Eldridge (#97427971) and his wife Cora Day Eldridge to me? He was my grandfather's brother and is the only child not listed with the rest of his father's and mother's find a grave entries (#66468820 and #66468882). Thank you!

Anna Maude houston elliott nance,
I am the great granddaughter of Anna Houston and Frank Elliott. I have found some information on Anna and Frank but it is very sparse. Do you have any information you would be willing to share. I did not that Anna's name was Anna Maude. I was told that her 1st Granddaughter was named "Anna Maude" for each grandmother.
The Main thing I am looking for is conformation as to the name of Frank's parents. Also do you have any idea why some of the family moved to Grain Valley.
Anything you could provide would be appreciated.

Thanks

Joseph Hunter
Dear S Price Nance,
I have a question about the find a grave for Joseph Hunter. This is the memorial # 122677939 and information
Created by: S PRICE Nance
Record added: Jan 03, 2014

I noticed that his name in the index says Joseph Lucifer Hunter. On the grave stone and in records such as censuses, wills, etc I have only seen his name as Joseph Hunter. I am wondering why you have his name as Joseph Lucifer Hunter. Is that name written in the cemetery records?
Thanks,
Beki Williams

Jonathan Frier Robertson Spouce of Cidy Robertson
I noticed on Cidy Robertson's memorial you have her husband buried in Milam Co., TX, I see information that on his find a grave memoral that disputes that ..Thought you would care to compare and perhaps correct an error...whether it be yours or theirs. for future researchers.

Ciddy Davis Robertson
Birth: 1771 Pasquotank County North Carolina, USA
Death: 1859
Milam County
Texas, USA

1. Ciddy (pronounced Kitty) Davis, was the eldest daughter of Frederick and Fanny Davis. She married Jonathan Friar Robertson in 1792 in Williamson County. They lived on the Cumberland River below his parents, James and Charolette Robertson. She died in Texas at the home of one of her sons. There were 8 children to this marriage.

Citty died in Nashville, Milam Co., TX. This town is not listed on the selected cities for Milam County. It is a ghost town. Her husband, Jonathan Friar Robertson is buried in the Nashville Cemetery, Milam County, TX.

NASHVILLE-ON-THE-BRAZOS, TEXAS. Nashville was on the southeast bank of the Brazos River two miles below the mouth of Little River and five miles northeast of Gause in what is now Milam County. Sterling C. Robertson founded the town in 1835 and named it in honor of his birthplace, Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville was headquarters for Robertson's colony in the early 1830s. Immediately after the Texas Revolution, Nashville was considered by the Texas Congress as a possible site for the capital of the Republic of Texas. The town served as county seat of Milam County from 1837 to 1846, but after the state legislature made Cameron the Milam county seat in 1846, Nashville began to decline.
