Greetings! I am retired U.S. Coast Guard, 27 years, 9 months and 4 days service (4 years U.S. Navy) originally from Macon, Georgia, living near Nashville, Tennessee. I've always loved strolling through cemeteries looking at individual graves and wondering what kind of person lies resting at my feet. I can stroll cemetaries for hours without getting bored. I love Military History, specifically the Civil War, as my g-g-grandfathers fought for the Confederacy; however, I have a soft spot for ALL veterans and children. I have traced my lineage paternally to Ulster Scots emigrating from Ireland in the early 1700s, first to Pennsylvania then to North Carolina and eventually to Wilcox County, Georgia by the early 1800s. Maternally, I am first-generation Italian/Croatian. Those of you who leave flowers for any of my memorials or simply visit, I wish to thank you in advance. If I leave flowers for your loved one(s), no thanks is necessary, but if you feel the need to reply please do so. God bless us all.|

Right back atcha!
I'm grumpy about various issues that've been keeping me away from photographing cemeteries, but thankfully there are other ways to contribute to Find A Grave.
Some time ago you mentioned a little family cemetery in the Rocky Creek area. Is it right by the Coca-Cola plant? On Jordan Dr between Rocky Creek and Chapel Hill Drive? If so I've seen it a hundred times or more ... always wanting to stop to visit and never having the time.

|Frank R. Adamski||RE: Paying respect|
It appears that we have a lot in common including dad's that served our country, mom's that had Italian heritage, and, importantly, especially today having been raised to show respect to those who have earned it, and a love of country. It may not be perfect, but our Founding Fathers set it up to succeed as long as we adhere to the principals, and concepts upon which it was underpinned. Thank you again for all your kind words, and thank you again for your honorable service. I added you to my Friends too. Best regards, Frank

HI, since I missed the Thanksgiving Holiday message until now, I wish you a warm and wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year.
I have been away and not on here much lately, have been so busy with a remodel project on a small old home. All is well with us, as I hope it is with you and yours.
