I've created several memorials for individuals related to me as well as others both known and unknown to me as a way to help people locate the graves of friends or family. (Please note, the site is named Find a Grave for a reason.) I do not do it to track genealogical data for anyone other than those related to me. Unless I have done genealogical research on an individual and have documentation for it, I use the information made available on the memorial stones. If a memorial stone does not include a birth or death date, the middle name or initial of the deceased, their parents or children, or any other type of information, I obviously do not include it - and I have no intention of adding it for you. You may tell me what you want, but unless you can provide documentation for me I will not add it to a memorial. And if you do want me to add or change anything on a memorial and are not polite about it, you can absolutely forget about receiving any courtesy from me. In fact, as I recently did due to the rudeness of the Australian who belittled me for someone else's mistakes, I may go so far as to delete the memorial.|

Hi, Sorry it took me so long. Apparently, it's for Icelandic citizens...at the moment. My tour guide told me about it as a way all Icelanders can look up family. Here is the site I rechecked and I'm not sure what the ID number is that it talks about. I'd jet them an email, it never hurts. But I will say the way they have their names recorded is different and counter intuitive than anything I've ever encountered. Honestly, I don't know how an outsider could figure out which Olaf Olafssin would be their kin, since last names are based only on the mother or fathers last name. When I talked to the guide about genealogy and records with headstones, he was truly baffled and said Icelanders would likewise find it odd.
Hope you find a helpful resource there

Sorry, I haven't been on this site for a long, long time. My ggmother was Amanda Melvina Sweazea. Thank you for the connections, and I'll try to connect them in my family tree asap.
My health isn't great either, and I don't always have the mental energy to follow a line.

Get back to me when you can. It turns out that another one of the cards I bought is addressed to the Humphreys as well.

Hello, is there any chance you know anything about Fannie Humphreys or are related to her? I see you have her memorial listed. I ask because I recently purchased an antique post card online that was addressed to her, and have become interested in finding out more about her.
