NOTE: If contacting me about one of my entries, please identify that person by the Findagrave memorial number located at the bottom of that person's page. That saves me much time in looking them up. Thanks........|
I'm a long time family genealogist, have made use of many genealogy web pages, and have decided it's time to do my part as a volunteer, as many others have done, by placing sometimes very difficult to locate birth and death dates in Findagrave. Some of my entries are for family but the most are from 'just going down the rows' in cemeteries available. My hope is that I'm helping at least a few unknown genealogists with information.
A word of caution to the unsuspecting:
Along with obituaries, gravestones are NOT infalliable in accuracy, most often having a partially incorrect date for the birth date. My experience has shown gravestones to be inaccurate in one date or another at least 5% of the time. Birth and marriage dates in obituaries have a higher rate of inaccuracy. Even death dates on gravestones are subject to error as I have found in many years of researching.

I'm curious how you were able to establish who his parents were. I have most of Fields' Klingensmith in my tree and he only knew of two Joel Klingensmith and neither of them were born to the parents you list. I'm trying to track down a Joel Klingensmith born ca. 1828 who was the son of Anna Mary Kline and John Adam Klingensmith. Your Joel appears in Trumbull Co., Ohio in 1860 as his wife Hariet is also listed in the Census. Trumbull County is adjoining Mahoning Co., Ohio where Anna Mary Kline and John Adam Klingensmith settled.
Dou have a median name for his mother? I ask that as there are so many Klingensmith in Westmoreland with the same names and similar birth years that you need additional data points to tell them apart.
I'm not saying that you are wrong, but trying to figure this out as I could eliminate you Joel Klingenmith if I knew more than what is posted.

I don't think I have been able to locate them in the census, but this gives me the incentive to try again. Thank you!

How nice of you to put so much work into this project! Susan Wolmer Baker is my husband's great-great grandmother. How did you come upon the bio that is published on the memorial? I have found very little about them anywhere until this info on her memorial. If you like, you may transfer the memorial to me--I really appreciate your work as many other do too.
