Bio and Links
Bio Photo Greetings, and thank you for visiting my profile page. I would like to sincerely thank all of the contributors who provide so much valuable information for the memorials. We all agree the memorials are a work in progress. Find a Grave works so well because of the fantastic, dedicated contributors such as yourself. I receive a LOT of edits and additonal information. I try hard to handle my edits in a timely fashion. Sometimes I am unable to keep up with thanking each and everyone that provides edits and additonal information. For this I am sorry but I sincerely appreciate your hard work and hopefully together we are helping a lot of people with family searches and honoring our departed loved ones.
May God bless each of you.

I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of
South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Lloyd, Parnells, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!

Revelation 21:4
King James Version (KJV)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

My Brother: Dantzler W. Watkins

P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He haid been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

Speedy
Speedy is not even the word for how fast you take care of additions. You were literally adding them as I finished doing my little research and put them on! I went back to find a little more on one child and when I got back to it, you had added all else on the family. Thanks so much for keeping up the spirit of findagrave.
As you note, I have been at it a while, (Findagrave and Genealogy) and since I can no longer get out and do cemeteries, I add a grave here and there, and I do a lot of adding to memorials already on, always with a little research to the person who did the grave, to prove what I am adding. I don't like to leave any doubt.
This bunch of Speir's are very Lateral to me and my direct family, but when I know more for whatever reason, I try to share it here also, as I go along. Thanks again, for giving this far from home family, a little bit of back to the fold. (I will add parents too, before I finish, to get them back to Ga, and beyond.) Gerry Hill Albany Ga- where I grew up with this family, and later discovered they were my kin.(3rd cousins) My Aunt, who was my Grandmother's sister- raised my Mother, when her Mother died-but her husband Taylor Speir was also kin, and I never knew it until his 90's. He is named in part, for this fella-Otis Taylor. His brother George was his Father.
