Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi,
Find A Grave has helped me so much that I have tried to pay it back by adding several hundred non family. If you see any errors please do contact me. Let me know if you want family transferred. If I am not related I most generally transfer.

Death certificates or printed obituaries not appreciated on a memorial. They are seldom 100 per cent correct and Find A Grave does not encourage them. Ancestry is one place to leave them. So please do not put Death Certificates on any of my memorials. We respect the feelings of people who do not wish these to appear on the memorials of family and friends, and we ask that you will please also honor their feelings. Find A Grave memorials are intended to show honor and respect, so this is not the place to publicize these images showing cause of death, etc. It is extremely painful to see one on the memorial page. The creator of F.A.G. has stressed that this is a grave registration site, not a genealogy site. Thanks very much for your understanding and kindness to these people.

Per the Find a Grave guidelines, please do not leave biographical information on a virtual flower. It will be reported and removed. If you have a correction, send an edit.

If you ask me to add or change any information on someone, please make sure you have documentation and not just something you saw someone put on the internet. I often get incorrect change requests.

In a letter from Find A Grave Management they stated "It is up to the originating member what
they include as long as you make sure that the names, birth and death dates/years are included in the fields available on the memorial page"

I work on all my family lines. The ones I work on the hardest seem to be Allenbaugh/Allumbaugh, Barker, Haynes, Lee, Lyle, Thompson, Rackleff/Rackliff, Symons. Lately I have also been working on Plemmons & Woody.

Thank you. Donna A

Priscilla
Steele Family
Hi Donna,

It's my husband Howard Boswell who is the Steele descendant. His grandmother was Rose Elizabeth Steele, daughter of Monroe Jackson Steele. As far back as he knows, John Steele Sr. b. ca. 1764, Virginia, died Dec 18, 1831 in St. Clair Co.,Illinois, was English or had origins in the British Isles. This is just as guess as he hasn't been able to trace the Steele line farther back.

I am in search of my 3 great grandmother and any information on. I am hearing about a Cherokee background on this side. Please let me know any information you might know. I seen you left flowers on her virtual site.

Clyde Allumbaugh
Just spent 3 years photographing and creating memorial pages for over a thousand graves at the Moosehaven Cemetery in Orange Park, FLorida (and adding photos to Memorial pages lacking them). Did not come across Clyde Allumbaugh. Markers are, for the most part, in chronological order. One had to be a Moose and live at Moosehaven Retirement Home to be buried in Moosehaven Cem. Are you certain that Clyde is buried there? A few of the older stones are crumbling but markers in the 1970s are in good shape. Could he be in Magnolia Cem which sits in front of Moosehaven; in fact, you have to drive thru Magnolia to get to Moosehaven. Rita

Lucilla Luvene Allumbaugh Hintz
Hi Donna, I'm a granddaugher of Lucilla Luvene Allumbaugh Hintz, whose father is Ross Allumbaugh (1857 - 1924). I just found this website and am so appreciative of everyone who has contributed. Not sure exactly what our relation is--it's quite a family tree! :-) , but just thought I'd reach out and say hi.

I happened upon the Hamilton's searching for the Merritt Clan. Sorry I created duplicates of your memorials - mine have been deleted. Wishing you the Best in the New Year.

Do you happen to be related? I notice that so many that I am looking at - you have left flowers, etc. Just curious. If so - I find them difficult to figure out and could use some help!

You manage the memorial for Daniel and Manda (McClure) Hamilton. I see there is also another one on find a grave - same folks. Can you help me to understand what's going on with this? Thank you! Pam
