My Grand Father was Christopher Christian Zimmerman born May 13, 1875
You have done a Find A Grave Memorial for him but you say that he died Oct 3, 1956 and he did not die until 1966.
Perhaps it was just a typo.
|Alberta Pettis||RE: Charles Martin & Sherman Wiggins|
Many of the people you mentioned (Gilbert Alvin Wiggins and Alberta Marie Elizabeth Martin Wiggins - MY parents; Charles Martin and Eleanora Hunn Martin - my maternal grandparents; Ranson Alvin Wiggins and Mary Coder Wiggins - my paternal grandparents; Sherman Wiggins and Kitty Hatfield Wiggins - my paternal great-grandparents; Martin Van B. Coder and Mary Snow Coder - my paternal great great grandparents) are my direct ancestors. And whoever posted my grandmother's information (Eleanora Hunn Martin) does not know how it is spelled. It is NOT Elenora. So this is supposed to be accepted by my relatives?
I was prepared to submit information about these people that other relatives might find interesting. I have never heard of the people who have posted. These people are not relatives and are not related to the people I have mentioned and I do NOT see why my information must be merged with their information.
I received this message from one person in December:
"RE: Martin Van B Coder & Mary Snow Coder
"Your second great grandparents are of no relation to me. Some where along the line, through my volunteering with Find A Grave, someone asked me for a photo of the gravesite. Your relatives were likely in the vicinity and I took theirs as well as the photos requested.
"I am happy to transfer management of their memorials over to you. Better in the hands of a loved one than a perfect stranger."
Members of my family would not recognize this person's name and would properly question the accuracy of any information posted under his name or any of the other people who have posted for my DIRECT relatives.
And another comment about other ancestors to FindAGrave by a contributor. Appears this person has the same problem as I do with you.
"I received your message. Please donít tell me how to manage MY memorials. If I want to add obituaries or articles that I find meaningful, I will. As a family historian and genealogist, I know firsthand how important such information is. I have received many words of thanks from people for adding such information to memorials. I will gladly remove any obituaries I may have put on any of your memorials, but I will not remove them from mine. I will respect how you manage your memorials. Please respect how I manage mine."
Before I posted my information, I searched carefully on your site for my relatives' names and at the time I could not find that they had already been posted. I searched through last names, birth dates, cities, maiden names, etc. and could not find them listed. Perhaps there is something wrong with FindAGrave and not with my own searching. Several members of my family have become very interested in learning about their ancestry. Frankly, the policies that you have adopted do not help.
Perhaps I will just leave FindAGrave, even though I paid "some" money to contribute to it. This link might not be for me and has too many rules. I think it's more important to have entries from actual FAMILY MEMBERS than from an outsider who is just "doing research." A family member has birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, etc. Outsiders do not have that information, so why is their information the one that must be allowed and not a child's, grandchild's or great-grandchild's?
I suspect I will need to look for alternative places to post my information. I know there are some around.

Why do I need to delete mine? I have more information in mine, including my Great Grandmother, Kitty Ann Hatfield. When I entered mine, I looked to see if these were already entered and I could not find them listed. So, since I have more information, why can't mine stay as they are?
Dear Glendora, I'm searching for photos' and any information about The Meredith's in Edmondson, Kentucky. My mother Lola Dennison 83 years old is the only living child of Mary Magdalene Meredith and Irvin Perry Meredith any information could be appreciated Thank you Bonnie Riggs

Thanks for your quick reply. I am planning to make a trek down to the old graveyard in the spring, and I can get the GPS location then.
I am wondering where you obtained the information for the Poplar Spring burials that are older than 1928. Did you have a list from someone? I'm asking because someone may already have an index of the old cemetery, and I don't want to repeat work that has already been done.

Hello, I see you have made many entries for burials in the Poplar Spring cemetery in Edmonson county. I would like to know the source of your information for all of the burials before 1928. The reason I am asking is because there are 2 different cemeteries, and the listings make it appear to be one.
Let me clarify: There are no graves in the PS cemetery before 1928. That was the year the current church was built and the cemetery started. There is another cemetery, often called the "old" PS cemetery, which is at least a mile away and completely surrounded by land owned by the National Park. It would be better and more accurate to properly list these as separate cemeteries, and correct the inaccurate listings. Thank you.

|Julie Ballard||STOP HARASSING ME|
I told you to CEASE AND DESIST all contact with me. This means tracking me down on facebook too. SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?? Leave me alone!!!
Thank you so very much for RUINING my family memorial pages by reporting to findagrave that I had added obituaries to them. Obituaries my family had saved for generations. Iíd also like to thank you on behalf of all the people I have helped over the years by providing information for their memorial pages. All that vital information lost in an instant without even the opportunity to transcribe and save it. So really, thank you very much.
I can see by some comments on your page that I am not the first person you have stalked and harassed on findagrave. Perhaps you should worry more about your own actions and less about strangers. You might be a happier person.
Lastly, PLEASE CEASE AND DESIST ALL CONTACT WITH ME IMMEDIATELY.

I think it is all corrected now. Sorry it took so long. I was on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas for a week. :)
