Bio and Links
Bio Photo There seems to be a FLAW in the way the new edits are being done, spouses are coming up in bright RED UNKNOWN, when in FACT it is RIGHT, I have had this happen when I send edits also, hopefully this can be fixed. I have been saving the spouse # and re-adding it after the edit is done.

PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. If there are a lot of requests only the ones listed might be taken when it's a quick stop. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.

It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.

I know it's important to have "facts", some think an official document such as birth, marriage or death certificate is correct. Sadly that is NOT always correct. There will always be conflicting information. Don't get upset when there is an error, just do your best to try to have it corrected, when there is another source, add the information in a note for one or the other. Try to always be nice, this site is great to help find our roots and follow all the branches. :) Genealogy = Confusing the dead and annoying the living.-by Unknown Author. I'm sure I "annoy" quite a few. I use ~ to mean not just now, but always~

Oh, Luella, thank you so much for looking up this grave site. A cousin of mine said he thought there would be a sizable stone, as he remembers going along as a child to decorate it on Memorial Day. I hope to make a visit there myself sometime.

What a generous service you provide!
Thanks again,
Marilyn Mohling

RE: George & Alice Miller
Hi Luella....here is additional info. The United Brethern in Christ Church was erected in 1887 and merged with the United Methodist Church in 1945. Possible records located in The Nebraska Methodist Church Historical Center. You'd have to Google that if interested.

Minnie Eliza Miller Parli married second to Joseph Howard Canum on December 20, 1920 in Pawnee City. Joe is buried in Pawnee City Cemetery with his first wife Rachel Park.

Kate Miller was born March 9, 1890 according to the information passed on to me. She and Jake are both buried in Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullerton, Orange County, California.

I haven't identified the baby's buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. It could be a John or Jacob Miller but until I can do more research I can't state for sure but believe the baby is related....lots of Millers in the area.

RE: George & Alice Miller
Hi Luella. As far as the two babies burryed in the United Brethern Cemetery...that information was what appeared on the family group sheet given to me. The group sheet was prepared by one of Minnie Parli's nephews (Hansen) but given to me by another Miller relative. Since Minnie was giving the information to him and the babies would have been a younger brother and sister of Minnies, and all the other data agrees with what I already researched and was told to me by an aunt, I believe the information is fact.
The baby with a headstone could have been from an uncle of George Washington. I still have a lot of research to do on the Miller side of the family. Right now I do not have a decent computer to work on to do any research. I do remember looking up the United Brethern Church and it was combined with another church in the area. Also, Minnie states she remarried after Arnie died but I haven't documented that yet. I found the marriage record but the spelling is not right. I rely only on primary sources. I'm having trouble accessing my computer data...email seems to be the only thing working.
