Any photos of graves that I have taken may be used by anybody as they see fit. As I see it, that is the purpose of this website. However, please do not upload them onto a Find-A-Grave memorial or take them from a similar website, like BillionGraves, as I also upload photos there and it violates this website's terms. If you would like a photo that I have taken placed onto a memorial, please let me know.
Also, according to Find-A-Grave guidelines regarding the use of photos, please note this: "Submitting a photo to Find A Grave grants Find A Grave a license to host the photo and facilitate the sharing of that photo across the Ancestry Community, so that Find A Grave users can post that photo to other Ancestry Community websites. However, submitting a photo to Find A Grave does not permit other Find A Grave users to post or republish the photo anywhere else (e.g., posting the photo on non-Ancestry sites or publishing it in a book, etc.). If you want to use another userís photo other than for personal use, you should contact the user who posted the photo and ask for permission." In other words, you do not need permission to post any photo on Find-A-Grave to your tree on Ancestry.com, or any other Ancestry-owned website.
Rudeness will not be responded to. Please be civil in your tone and words.
In Messages, please include the MEMORIAL NUMBER when referencing a specific person. It makes it easier to find them.
If you would like a memorial transferred to you, please ask. I will happily transfer any memorial, unless the memorial is of a relative of mine or a member of the Maryknoll Missionary Community.
If you have higher quality photos than the ones I posted, please feel free to post them, then let me know, and I will remove mine.
HOW TO (on Find-A-Grave):
Create Bold Print: When you are editing your profile, use < b and then > with no space, at the beginning of the word or phrase. When you want to end the bold print, use < / b > with no space between any of the characters. Also leave no space between the markers and the opening and closing word.
Create Italics: Same as with bold print, only include an "i" in the place of "b".
Create Bold and Italic Words: Simply put the two symbols listed above back to back in the front and at the end.
How To Link One Memorial To Another:
In the Biography, type < a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name < / a >
Remove the space before the first "a" and all the spaces after "Name" in the example above, and where the "X"s are, replace with the memorial number. Where "Name" is, put the name or phrase you want to appear as the link. For example, This is me (The link goes nowhere).

|mjbliese||Helvius L. Thompson picture|
The picture of the headstone for Helvius L. Thompson doesn't appear to be the correct headstone. Can you please correct this?

|Carol McWade||Transfer granted|
Thank you so much for transferring our great-grandparents, Elizabeth Paisley Shaw Enos and Henry Emile Enos to me. I have been working hard on their family to be able to add details and connect many more F.A.G. entries as I find or add them.
I really appreciate the transfer, and thanks again on all your hard work and contributions to F.A.G.

Thank you very much. Wasn't sure about using the pictures since we plan to publish a book. I will contact Maryknoll also. I've been visiting with one of their nephews who has given me some pictures and other information. Maryknoll also published a short documentary narrated by Bing Crosby that explains Fr. Leo Steinbach's work in Japan. Very nicely done. Thanks, again!

|Carol McWade||Transfer Request of Great-grandparents|
I am writing to request a transfer to me of our great-grandparents:
Elizabeth P Enos 141576146
Henry E Enos 141576128
I have been our family's genealogist for 18 years, and I have information to add, including photos of the children they had. I am linking our family units together on Find-a-grave, to match my Ancestry.com tree. Recently retired, I have more time to dedicate to Find-a-Grave, too.
Thank you! And thank you so much for all the photos and memorials that you have already created. I plan to go to Chicago and see the grandparents' graves in Chicago. You took a lovely photo. I am just in Milwaukee.

Thanks. If you still see it as a W, then that is what it is.
