Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Janet. I just started doing this when my daughter found the web site and put my mother and dad on it. I have been interested in my ancestry for a long time and trying to find as many ancesters as I can for my children. I am looking for Reeders, Blounts, Gibson, Potters, Capps, Sprague and Murray, all From Arkansas. I believe the Reeders started in Indiana, and ended up in Arkansas. Spragues are from Texas.

Louise Copperfield - Powell Cemetery, Hominy, OK
I'm Louise Copperfield's eldest great-granddaughter.
I would like to add links to her children's graves, if that would be possible?

Baby Girl Copperfield is
Martha Josephine Bighorse, her eldest daughter, buried in the same row as her mother.

Mary-Rose Gann (Bighorse) 1921-2011 was her second daughter, buried in Pawhuska, OK

Paul Bighorse, Jr. was her eldest son, buried in Pawhuska, OK, next to my grandmother, his sister

William Bighorse was her youngest son, buried also in Pawhuska, OK.

Thank you, so much!

Can you give me directions or a road name of the location? Trying to locate CSA vets interred there.

Doris Frost Warner
Hi Janet

We're working on the Hiemer (sometimes Heimer) family of Lincoln County OK, several of whom are buried in Gable Cem., and I was looking at your memorial for Doris above. Her mother was Mary Hiemer Frost, as you must know since you also have her memorial.

Do you know anything else about this family you could share with us. Of course we have all the Find A Grave memorials and census records, but still there are puzzles.

For example, Mary's brother Alfred Hiemer has a nice stone at Good Hope Cem. in Meeker showing that he died in 1952, but we find no other record for him, not even a news story. Here's a man who lived 75 years and lies in a well identified grave yet left not one census record nor figured in one local news item? The only explanation is that he was adopted and using a different family name. Who could have adopted him? Do you have any idea?

Many thanks,

b. Lincoln Co., 1946

RE: James and Sarah Nelson
I guess I don't have anything on Margaret, Sorry. I haven't looked at it in a while. I have James Robert Nelson (dob & dod) and Sarah E. Rummage (dob & dod); and the names & dates for their children. Then I have information about their daughter (my great-grandmother) {their third child} Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" (Nelson) Harris Lowrance. My grandmother was Hattie (Lowrance) Bryant.

RE: James and Sarah Nelson
That's fine ~ didn't know you were related. Tell your husband that he & I must be cousins. James & Sarah were the parents of Mary "Mollie" Nelson - Harris - Lowrance. Mollie & Sam Lowrance's daughter (Hattie Bryant) was my grandmother. Nice meeting you. I have some information about them & will share if you need it. Thanks

Read on your profile you are researching family history. Noticed the last name Blounts. My first husband name is Lee Blount. His dad and mother was Leslie and Rosemary. Both are buried at Ardmore, Oklahoma. Some of Leslie siblings are buried in Cheek cemetery west of Lone Grove, Oklahoma. Maybe this is distance kin, plus helps.

RE: Atwoods

You are more than welcome to use the photos I posted. If I have any more I can send them to you. Cousin Stephen is always sending me new photos that he finds or that he thinks I might be interested in. I have tons of pics also, from Grandpa Atwood that I have never made online copies of. I guess it should be easy now since I can take a pic of them with my iPhone and then post.

Thank you so much for transferring my part of the family to me.

Cousin Carol.
