Please be kind to one another on here. Seriously, life is too short not to be. I have lost two dear uncles in two weeks and it makes you realize we're not here for very long.
I have a auto-immune disease that causes me to lose my sight sometimes partially and sometimes I go blind for periods at a time. I am having vision issues at this time, so if you need a correction or edit immediately, please contact Find A Grave Admin, otherwise, I will make the changes/corrections as soon as I can. For now, I am basically home bound and bed bound, so this is a hobby for me, as well as my way of giving back to ones that have helped me along with my family research.
You can contact me by using the SAC (Suggest A Correction) tab on any of my memorials.
F A G rules: Find A Grave takes no position on the appropriate timing of submitting such indexes (which means, there is no time table rules on adding memorials). This is a database of memorials so your loved ones will be remembered.
F A G rule Privacy of living family members? Based on the F A G FAQ's below, I will remove living survivors from the memorial if contacted.
If an immediate family member contacts us and wants information removed, we generally do so as a matter of respect for their wishes but we treat each request on a case by case basis. The names of living survivors will be removed from the biography section of a memorial upon request. I have found that this is a wonderful research tool, and without it a lot of family would not be connected.
I will gladly transfer a loved one to you within the F-A-G transfer guidelines, unless it is my family member. To request a transfer, be sure to include your member number. Request for transfers outside of the F A G rules will be CONSIDERED on a case by case basis - meaning, if you ask nicely and not demanding. I believe family should be with family, however, just as F A G rules state, I do not transfer a memorial for you to delete mine and create a new one.
Please send me your source when submitting an edit/additions, unless the information is already included in the obit. I have been asked for "proof" of information on previous edits I have accepted. Please use the Edit tab and then click on Suggest any other correction or addition. This way you can add your source of the correction/addition. This includes name changes, date of birth, date of death. I will not make the changes without a source. I do not have a membership to Ancestry so please don't send me a message telling me to look it up!
