Just happened to be driving down a road with an extra few minutes before an appointment. Some times it's better to be lucky than good. LOL

Yes, I had a plot map for that section and pinpointed his grave in relation to the people around him. If he has a marker, it has sunk by feet rather than inches as I did probe the ground for a stone.

Thank you for your info. I do not know where the other info came from. I check the funeral records and found what you have is correct. However, I cannot put Dayton as the city even though it is the county seat, it does not show up. Jim

Hi again,

I wasn't going to mention it but since you brought it up, the faqs state not to add newspaper articles or obituary scans as photos. Since the article is out of copyright it could be transcribed and added to the bio area.

Hi Lee,

I was going to check for a marker but see you placed a photo request that has already been claimed by another member. I guess we'll have to wait and see what she finds.

The old card file burial records were transcribed and are online on the Masonic Memorial Park's website. I don't see a notation on his page about him being moved, but then the early records were done by volunteer Masons so if he was moved it may never have been noted on the card file.

I noticed the information on his marker in Iowa states he was buried in WA Territory but that's not proof he wasn't moved at a later date either.

MAJ Hiram Gibson
Thank you for the information. I added a hyper-link to his cenotaph memorial and sent a request to add one linking that one to our memorial as well.

Hi, Unfortunately I am not related to Hattie. From the extensive research I did re: her life, her 2 husbands, children, her brother Charlie, and WACO aircraft, I'm connected with her.

Just noticed the same picture uploaded multiple times, it's been fixed and the military foot stone is now showing
