Irwin Whitehead came to Claiborne Parish, Louisiana in about 1848 from Dale County, Alabama. About 1858 Irwin and family moved to Columbia County, Arkansas.

Nathaniel Nations, a veteran of the War of 1812 was in Hempstead County, Arkansas in the 1840'S.

I read your bio. and see that you lived in Dale County, Alabama (I am living there, Ozark!), and lived in Webster parish (Springhill, Sarepta area) for 20 years before coming to Ozark....! feels like you are a neighbor...

According to information I have found. Their daughter
Hattie Elizabeth was my 2nd great grandmother and her
Daughter Fleetie/Fleta/Fleetiana Coyle was my great grandmother.
Any info. Would be greatly appreciated! I am very green
