I have been working on my family tree off and on since I was 12 years old (so over 42 years). I feel it is often like a treasure hunt. I enjoy researching for others and enjoy seeing how much information I am able to gather for them.|
My love for genealogy came from my father, Rev. Geo. K. Swartzfager. He was a minister and was able to learn and remember family members of most of his parishioners. I seem to have this same ability often to the annoyance of my own family. They often seem to feel this is a curse but I feel it is a blessing that I have gladly inherited.
As I said, I am willing to do research for others. I have several books to assist in this research: Cemeteries of Crawford County, Ohio, Volumes 1, 2A and 3; Marriages of Crawford County, Ohio 1831-1997; History of Crawford County, Ohio; Index of Applications of The Pioneer Families of Crawford County, Ohio; and Families of Crawford County, Ohio 1977-1978.
Please do not make duplicates of people I have added to Find A Grave. I am willing to make transfers whenever the person is not related to my family. I will try to respond/transfer as soon as possible. I enjoy working on Find A Grave and visit cemeteries to take pictures as often as possible. While in a cemetery in Pennsylvania, I met a cousin (living of course). You never know what you may find. A friend says she can't go by a cemetery without thinking of me. My daughter just thinks its creepy. Hopefully someday my children will inherit some of my genealogy insanity.

|Jeff||Carl "Jamie" Marucci|
After doing some research I found the exact date of birth and death for Carl "Jamie" Marucci who you created a memorial for (Memorial #159861655). I ran across the story of his death while doing some research, so I could add more information to his memorial if you would consider transferring. I sent in an edit for the exact dates. My Find A Grave # is 48137944 if you transfer. I'm not a relative but I did do extensive reading about his tragic death and feel a lot of sympathy for him. I sponsored his memorial. Thanks.

Thank you for the transfer.
I am a distant cousin on your mother's side (Dodt/Koeper). Do you know about your ancestors from 17th centrury Bremen area Germany? We share a common ancestors Johann and Alke (Schiphorst) Koeper my 7th great grandparents born in the 1600's outside present day Bremen Germany. I have literally hundreds of relatives from this line, some with DNA matches. If you are interested just reply and we can discuss on private email. The Dodt family married into my Koeper ancestry line when Claus Dodt married Anna Koeper. We are 7th cousins. Your grandfather Charles Dodt who lived in NY is my 5th cousin twice removed.

|DrDX||Graheks in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Republic, PA|
Do you have any information on the Graheks in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Republic, PA? I am researching them and have no idea how Noreen Marie Vernon Grahek fits in. Her stone suggests she is related to Tony Grahek but he died at 16 and is the son of Mary and Frank Grahek Jr. and a maiden name of Vernon suggests she was married but Mary and Frank only had one son that I know of, Tony and a daughter whose name is not known. Just running out of resources. Thanks for posting their memorials.
