Bio and Links
I have been doing genealogy since 1993.
My 1st project was finding info on my father's father's side, the Reyffs. This involved Switzerland, Minnesota, and Ohio. The Great Sioux Massacre of 1862 in MN was key.
In 2006, I found my Ellsworth relatives in Iowa...also finding info on them dating back to the yr. 1500. Col.Elmer Ellsworth of the Civil War a 6th cousin of mine. He was like family to Abe & Mary Lincoln. (see Google). In this family also are: The Ellsworth who was an aide to Brigham Young & married his daughter, Oliver Ellsworth, 1st gov. of CT. & a Supreme Court judge appointed by G.Washington, & more. My great grandfather Ellsworth married a woman who was in the lineage of William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania. This side of the family is just full of historical figures.
I also found my Irish relatives in Kansas this yr. I am ready to try international research now. Any help is always welcome...Patty

Hi Mrs. Tinsley,

I still have Mrs. Degase's email address, I just sent her a note that you would like to visit with her, as you may be related. If she says it is okay to give her email out, I'll sure send it to you. I think this is pretty cool. You will enjoy visiting with her, as she is a lovely, lovely lady. Till later, have a nice day. Sue Henry

Norman Ellsworth
Hi Patty,

I added Norman Ellworth's birth information to his memorial in the Punchbowl Cemetery. Since I had already added a photo for him I went ahead and removed the photo request attached to the memorial. If you want me to add any more information for him just let me know! Thanks!
