RE: James Martin Heisel
Thank you so much for the photo of his -- and his wife's -- grave marker at Crown Hill. Great to be able to reconnect the only brother to his eight sisters, one of whom (Ruth Anna Heisel aka Mrs. W. L. Studebaker) was the loving step mother of my father and his two siblings.

THANK YOU for ascertaining that this soldier is buried in an unmarked grave. He may not be able to get a VA marker. A family member has to request it. I, too, think he should have a marker. Let me know how I can help. Also, contact the local American Legion, VFW, Missing In America and other veteran's groups. Even the Sons/Daughters of the American Revolution may want to help. My email is scarberja@hotmail.com. It would be so great if his grave could be marked before October 26, 1918. He has been forgotten for too long!

If you could send the article you found I would appreciate it.
