Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've always been interested in my family trees. Since I was a little girl my grandmother did flower arrangements to put on family graves for different holidays and birthdays. It was interesting to me to walk through the cemetery and read the names and dates on gravestones wondering how people were related to each other and why some passed so young. Even though I may have "moonshiners and horse thieves" as ancestors I still want to know about them.Ancestor surnames are: Adams, Black, King, and Mullins in Georgia and SC. Savage, Jones, Pinson, and Briggs (Brigges) in Tennesee.

RE: Thomas and John Black
Oh boy, I can't remember when I sent a message. I think that if it was a Black, it was probably some kin to Hershel King Black. And I have found the info I needed. But thank you though!

RE: Carl Mullins Adams
I am descended from Martha Ann Bentley Vaughan, findagrave #13067127. I have a 1912 Bentley reunion photo taken in Union County, SC, in the "Bentleytown" community. On the photo are William David "Dock" Adams and wife Julie with four of their children: Flora, Bill, Charles, and J. D. Julie is also holding who I think is her oldest grandchild, Cola Postel "Buck" Adams. Standing beside Flora is a young man whom I assume to be her husband. Do you know who Flora married ?

Carl Mullins Adams
Hello, I have some Adams family records passed down to me. In 1964, Carl Mullins Adams wrote to my great-aunt Nettie Gregory in Union, South Carolina. I also have an old snapshot of Carl and wife Lillie which was in Aunt Nett's collection. Also a photo of Carl's uncle "Dock" Adams (William David Adams). We are related to the Adams through the Bentleys. My great-great-grandmother was a sister to Elizabeth Bentley Adams, wife of Jeremiah Burns Nance Adams. Just wondering if any photos exist of Elizabeth ? Thanks so much. I am also copying this to your regular email.

Thomas and John Black
Hi, I sent you a private email as well but it might not have gone through. I see where you created memorials for John and Thomas Black. Are you related? If so, do you have any additional info on their other siblings? Thank you!

Memorial #55460086 & # 55460082
Hi Sandy,

Thank you so much for the beautiful photos of the headstones of my GG-Grandparents on Memorial # 55460086 and # 55460082.

I wondered if you might allow me to use the photos, on my trees for them, on Ancestry.com. and add your name as the source?

Until Later....God Bless,
Judith

Memorial # 88955136
Hi Sandy,
I am also searching for the Adams family as well.

On memorial# 88955136, you have it listed as Sarah Scales and state that the stone is broken.

I believe that this is Sarah Scales Adams born 16 Apr 1811. In my search I have found information that she is buried in this cemetery.

Could the partial date that you have, been the date of her death?

Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for all the work that you have done in helping with find a grave.
