I am trying to find the headstone for Alice's daughter Karen Woods and was wondering if you have a photo of her grave site. I see that Alice is buried in West Lawn yet the staff tell me they have no recording of Alice , her husband or her daughter Karen. Would you also have the area/plot. It would be greatly appreciated Thanks Jane Bandy

A polite heads up for you. The photo you posted on Cora E. Olson, #26664414 is for a different Cora Olson. The dates on the gravestone don't match.
I suggest you may want to remove the photo.
Dear Julia, I am looking for a headstone at West Lawn Cemetery in Eugene, Oregon. I see that you took a photo of Alice Woods and Doug Woods. There daughter is buried near them but West Lawn states they have no listing for Alice, Doug or their daughter Karen. I think they possibly do not have their data base up to date or another error occurred in processing. I know this is a long shot but it beats walking the acres of land to find Karen's grave. Would you happen to have any info about approximately what area her parents are in. If so I sure would appreciate it. I am also going to try and show the staff the info and possibly have them load it into their computers. Thanks, Jane B
|Bryan Anderson||Roy Jefferson Brabham|
I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the National Directory of the 355th Infantry Association, Roy Jefferson Brabham was a member of this unit.
I'm not certain where I'm going with my research, but would it be permissible to use your image of his gravestone should I ever publish anything?

Hi Julia, I am a decedent Wm Gibbens and a distant relative of Elma's. I am updating bio's, and linking the Gibben/Gibbons/Gibbins line. I am sending updates through edit but there is a correction for Elma that I need to explain. Elma is the Dau. of Roy Raymond Gibbens #29236469 and Grace Gibbens 29236480. Elma is linked with Emma Nelson as mother. This is not correct. I have "records" that show that Emma's last name is Gibbons. please look at her son's death certificate as mother "Elma Gibbons" Find A Grave# 29262982.
I am sorry for the length of this msg. but I wanted to show you that my information is correct. I am not sure why she was linked incorrectly. I will be asking for a edit for father and mother. Thank you for your consideration of this.

Hi again Julia. I just realized you also added Benjamin McPherson. The same question regarding management of the site applies. Thanks again. Helen
|Helen Wilson||Mary L McPherson on Find a Grave|
Hello, Julia, You have entered the information for my Great Grandmother, Mary L. McPherson who is buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Springfield, Oregon. Thanks so much for that. I would like to be able to link her husband and the many children she and he had. Would you be willing to transfer management of her information to me? If you would rather maintain it yourself would you be willing to add the information?
Thanks Helen Wilson

Mary Magdalena (Johnson) Donovan would be my 1st cousin, 3x removed. Is she related to you? I am researching my Johnson family that moved to Oregon from Indiana.
