I live in Mesquite, Texas and have one son still at home...and, am a Grandma, twice, thanks to my daughter. I am married and have a dog, a cat, and some fish.|
Mine is probably not that unusual a story, filling-in my husband's family (Newman, Thornhill, Vineyard, Lawrence, Vaughan, mostly) and also for my natural parents, whom I met at the age of 26 (Smith, Kuykendall, Ward, Shipman, Carr, Priddy & Rogers). I was adopted and, besides becoming a complete freak over this stuff, I'd like to know more medical history and why and how people passed. There have been some truly interesting stories. It is an invaluable experience, even when reading about people who are not related!
If you'd like corrections / editions to any of memorials I manage, I'm "good" with either method of requests - doesn't matter to me...just need the name of the person and the memorial #, and I'd like some type of supporting documentation, if possible, that I can add to the memorial. That way, I won't lose my mind and forget where the information came from! :) Or, use the edit tab...I'm not picky...
Please contact me if I can help anyone out there! I'm happy to help! Besides: It gives me a mission!

|Christine Peterson||redorick smith|
I just wanted to let you know that you may possibly have some of the information incorrect for Redorick Smith Sr. He was born in and married Polly hall in December 1811 in Greene georgia. Polly died in 1815. They had one son together by the name of James Henderson Smith. Redorick (Reddick) then married Mary Ann Clark also in Georgia January of 1816. they had 7 children, Francis, Reddick jr, soloman, Thomas, Almira, Andrew Jackson ( my GGG grandfather) and John R. Redorick Smith sr died in 1864 and was the first person buried in the Palestine cemetery in Louin/Montrose Mississippi. the rest of the family is buried there as well. Just trying to help, I know geneaology is frusterating. If I can answer any questions please let me know. Christine

Great to hear from you....Liver ultrasound this past Friday...turned into more than that...multiple organs were checked..be next week before I hear anything.
I am ready for a cool down...but the hottest weather is yet to come.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
|Lynn Waller||RE: Just wanted to say HI!!!|
Thanks. Glad to hear from you. We are doing well, surviving the heat so far. Going to lots of our grandsons' Little League baseball games. Want to chat with you later about some puzzling things in the Smith family.
|email@example.com||Joseph D. Small|
The correct middle name for Joseph D. Small, son of Joseph Wiley and Ruth Ann Priddy Small is Denton. He is my grandfather.
U.S., World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942
Name: Joseph Denton Small
Birth Date: 14 Feb 1880
Residence: Little Rock, Arkansas

First I appreciate the requested edits. I checked them out and they did pan out. However could you tell me why you want George removed as Grace's spouse. Also since James already has Frank as a middle name, I don't think it should be added as a nickname. I am willing to add J.F. I am very particular about the people at Pleasant View as I knew or know something about most of the families there.
|texasgal54||John Kendrick Kuykendall|
According to his death cert# 03626, here's John K Kuykendall's correct info:
Birth 11 FEB 1875 • Martins Mill, Van Zandt County, Texas
Death 2 JAN 1964 • Houston, Harris, Texas
Father Peter Erasmus Kuykendall
Mother Mary Ann Hunt
If you wanted to transfer your Find A Grave memorial to me, that would be fine as he's my great uncle, and I could update or you can.
Thanks for your question. d
|Karen Lambert||MacArthur High School|
I graduated from MacArthur high School in 1976. Are you aware of any other Virtual Cemeteries for MacArthur? I'm fairly new to this web-site and haven't figured out how to search for virtual cemeteries yet.
Also, Karen Gatlin, was my bestie in high school. She passed away 11/14/16. Her FindAGrave memorial number is 172868186. She graduated in 1976 as well. If you're able to add her that would be great.
Thanks so much,
Karen (Weatherford) Lambert
|Sandra ||Bertha Smith-Frost|
Bertha is my great grandmother. her father was Walter Smith and her mother was molly Holmes. I have her Birth certificate. She was Born in Forrest City Arkansas and Died there. She was raised by her grand parents William and Sarah Smith. We do not know anything about her mother only that she died before my grandmother was 10 and Walter died 1899. I have a photo of his head stone. If you can shed any new light on my Great Grandparents it would be so much help.
