I'm a Lancaster County, PA native going back 13 generations. My grandmother was from Belfast, ME, where I have spent a lot of time, so I also have done research of New England. |
If you are related to any of the people in my memorials that I'm not related to, feel free to request a transfer and I will gladly transfer.
I usually save the large original photo. If you would like the original photo, rather than the resized image on the memorial, Let me know and I'll email you.
As an amateur genealogist, I try to be as accurate as possible when linking/posting family data. IF YOU ARE SENDING ME FAMILY OR BIO DATA, please notify/email me of your source. I maintain the option of not adding data if you can't supply the source. I previously posted information sent to me without sources, some which were incorrect; if you see any mistakes, please email me ASAP. Thank you!

Thanking you for posting the memorial of George Carson Miller. With the stones of his brothers on the same long concrete slab and his wife to the left of them it really tied the family together. I know Find a Grave is not for genealogy but this was the final proof that his son's birth certiacte had the wrong father on it. (His uncle Horace) thanks for all your hard work.

Hi Tina - I'm not related except by far-off through marriage. I entered them, I think, from info from death certificates found on Ancestry.com.
I grew up in Cecil County and am related to some McVeys way back through probably my Janney or McCauley lines or could be from Mackey, Yerkes, or Perry on another grandparent?
If any of these ring a bell, feel free to let me know.
|Robert Comeau||RE: Acevedos in Moca, PR|
Go to your local library which should have ancestry dot com for free. Type in Agueda Acevedo Y Mendez with death of 1931 in Puerto Rico. You should be able to find trees with her and one will be mine.
|Leigh Miller||RE: KEEN Family|
My married name is Miller, although my grandparents from Lancaster were Millers as well. I believe there are Keens in the family that married into the Leaman side in the 1870s. Mary Keen, daughter of Elijah & Mary Mower Keen married Joseph Leaman...
|Carolyn Y Lowe Shifflett||RE: Henry Hershey edit|
Been very sick this summer, so sorry that it has taken me so long to respond.
I linked him to his parents based on multiple family trees found on Ancestry. I think. But who knows maybe it was sent to me as a SAC and I just approved it.
Either way the parents look very logical to me.

Please check edits. Info is based on Landis Family book II page 101. Have sent other edits that will link to the Weaver line in Switzerland early 1600`s. Wow !
|Carolyn Y Lowe Shifflett||never mind|
Sorry I messaged you...but it was weird.
I successfully deleted Aldus and Minnie and now will create new ones.
|Carolyn Y Lowe Shifflett||This is weird...|
Go the memorial for Aldus H Miller
his wife is listed twice.
and if you go to her memorial he is listed twice
but they are the same memorials with the same numbers
I thought that they were duplicates that I created in error but they aren't. If I try to delete one of them it does not work.
I have never seen anything like it.

"The House of Mansur", page 36 and others, Tribe of John, lists Eliza Bickford, as wife/maiden name.
