Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was raised in Bradford Co., PA on a farm. My interest in genealogy was sparked by my lack of grandparents on my father's side, since he was adopted. So I traced my Rockwell side back to the Rev. War. I like historical research, so what better place to focus my interest on - cemeteries. My wife's ancestors are from Sullivan Co., PA so my main focus is on Bradford & Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania. I am on the findagrave.com volunteer photographer e-mail list so will take a photo for you when requested.

You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for personal uses. It takes much time and effort to locate, process, and post these images I have posted, so I expect and appreciate the courtesy of citing your source!

If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me. If any are a relative of yours and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.

Find a Grave Changing For the Worse
Print out any memorials you want to save. They're now changing the website the same awful way they changed "classic" ancstry family tree website.

Melanie Godding Gore
It's hard to read Melanie's death date from the picture shown. It doesn't seem to be 1871 as her name does NOT appear on the 1870 census. Instead Emily Gore appears along with her sister Sarah Akins. I would appreciate confirmation of a death date.

Thank you.

Albert L. Every
Hi Lyle,

My ancestor's memorial, Albert L. Every Find A Grave#98860324, seems to be in conflict with itself.

It says he died in 1863 and it says he served in the Civil War from 1864 to 1865. But the service record has a last name of Evory and so does the headstone (red) one that is pictured. Grey headstone has the Every and 1863.

Can you help me figure this out? How can a dead man fight in a war?

Thanks,
Bob

No need for me to keep it either, Lyle. I have added obit and transferred memorial back to you. Thank you. It is so much easier for me this way. Daryl

Fay Huston Morley
Good morning,

I was wondering if the Morley family line might be related to you?

I have been researching this line since it connects to my "DREW" family and I would like to validate some information you have posted, since it conflicts with some that I have about Fay.

If someone else provided you the posted information, I would very much like to contact them, if possible.

Thank you for your consideration.

Canfield from LeRaysville
Good day. I saw you say you were familiar with this family and I was trying to get a confirmation of a 1st name if possible. Rilla Canfield, my great grandmother from the LeRaysville family b.1876 d. 1952, is often listed as Amerilla in censuses but her headstone and marriage certificate says Rilla. Any idea on this one? Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Francis Swackhamer
Hi, His ancestors spelled it Swackhammer and then some spell it Swackhamer. I use Swackhammer to keep them all together in my tree. Judi

Thank you for all your effort
Lyle, I wanted to thank you on this Memorial Day for all the hard work you've put into photographing and posting memorials from Terrytown cemetery. When I first started using Find-A-Grave, so much that was there had not had grave photos attached. My 6th great-grandfather & founder of the village of Terrytown & I thank you.
