I no longer make changes, additions, transfers from messages left on my contributor page. Please follow FindAGrave procedures by using the Edit tab on the memorial page to request changes, additions, request transfers, etc.|
Thank you for following FindAGrave procedures.
Please ask permission before posting my personal family photographs, photographs I have taken of grave stones or biographical material I have written from my memorial pages on this site to Ancestry.com or any other website or personal webpages.
I follow FindAGrave guidelines for transfers of memorials:
Second, Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Please see FindAGrave Frequently Asked questions for more information:
How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Many thanks to everyone who has contributed information and photos for my memorials.

|Ross Adam Wood Sr.||RE: Nan Barclay Young Smith 148291159|
Both the 1900 & 1930 census have her birth year approximated at 1880. If you wish to retain her birth year at 1888 that is your prerogative.

The correct location is Section V, Row A, Site 12-13. This is only a cenotaph for Jr.
His parents and infant sister are buried in the plot.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any information about his mother. The academy must have information somewhere (perhaps from his application) but I don't have access to it. Sorry!

There are 8 left on this list with no burial location of those who died during WWII at West Point.

That is what the Nationwide Gravesite Locator lists for him.

all I have to go on are "family trees"....what you do is up to you....you could always change it again later if it gets proven wrong, but I don't think that will happen
I saw your photo request for Child Raymond (127097477) - there is only one Raymond child - Charles Pratt Raymond (127097387).
|Anne Leyden||RE: Jane Mary Wood Johnston Michel|
Thank you very much for your excellent information about Jane/Mary's name variations. I try to use birth names in my genealogy database but can definitely see where on Find A Grave it would be best to use the name a person used in adulthood. - Anne
