|I have always been interested in genealogy and there are always those of us who find it fulfilling to visit friends and family burial sites, from time to time. This is an excellent way of doing it without the travel. And if you do travel, you can find them easier when you have some information like you find here.|
Anyone wishing to have a memorial transferred to them, need only state your relationship and fill out the edit with a request.Make sure to submit all corrections using the Edit tab. If you are a family member, I will typically transfer the memorial to you. You know more about the individual then I do. I just ask that if someone who is even closer to that individual reaches out to you, pay it forward and transfer the memorial to them! I welcome any new information that helps make my entries easier to follow, more informative, or to correct some error that I may have made.
PHOTOS: I try to take a photo worthy of the folks that were buried there. I know that sometimes the conditions do not afford that so if someone has a clearer, better photo, please feel free to add it. Notify me if you want mine removed and I will be happy to do so.
And, by all means, you may use any of my gravestone photos as I have purposely taken them for YOU.
I am especially interested in knowing/contacting anyone with knowledge of the family of Campbell. That would include members of the Cornell family with roots in Wapakoneta, OH or Lima, OH area.

Thank you for your response. No I haven't asked the volunteer to transfer the duplicate to me to manage. I am not even sure I knew it existed but appears to have been created 3 days after her funeral. I would not have thought to look to see if one was already created. Why would I? Perhaps a local person who used the newspaper. And may have been in touch with her previously as there was an "issue" with another site and that person did live locally and had hoped to meet her, but didn't happen. I do appreciate volunteers in the past as their work and contributions have been a great source of help. This came as I am grieving the loss of a dear sweet very much loved friend who was 102 1/2. 😢 But danced the salsa 💃🏻 the night before she died! She was God's way of giving me my Grandma back. Someone created a site for her husband - I should add a photo of their headstone. I have used this site I. Along time and not sure I remember how to do things. Thank you for alerting me to the duplicate.

I don't know how to merge the information to the other cemetery memorial.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have done what you requested for http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=54160717.
Do you have any relationship to Fannie or James? I have been searching everywhere trying to trace the Coloskys. My great grandfather Isaac Wiggins married Fannie's sister Emily Colosky. I have traced them all back to Ontario, but info on Fannie & Emily's father is sketchy and contradictory. From their father Benjamin's records, I could find only that his father's name was Henry and was also born in Canada in 1813. Any information that you might have with respect to the Colosky's heritage would be greatly appreciated.
On the census records I am talking about posting pictures of every Census record that exists or posting all of each census record in the bio. Who wants to read a repeat of family in each census. What you wanted added is fine, it's something about him and where that information came from not the actual census record itself.
There is a discrepancy on where his father was born. Ancestry shows Virginia. Can you shed any light on that?

You are absolutely right. Sometimes when adding photos or whatever, it is hard to know if it is the same person. I'm not sure if it is the same person, but I'll contact Diann with the info to see what she thinks, and if so, she can edit her site before I delete mine. Thanks, Sandi

I appreciate your concern, but I feel it is misplaced. I pay for the right to use these newspaper obits. Find A Grave knows they are there. Just wanted to let you know so you did not transcribe any more obits needlessly.

I just took care of the photo request. At this time I'm leaving both photos up as that the newest is a screen shot instead of the actual photo. I will however delete the 2nd photo after the member making the request is notified that it's been fulfilled. Thanks for bringing this to my attention ~Shelly

If this person is related to you I'd be happy to transfer her memorial to you. Otherwise I'm just as happy to leave the photo copy attached.

She buried in an "as you need a grave". No family around her.
Only about 25% of the graves have a tombstone. Nice to find one.
