I'm a lifelong New England resident and have been interested in genealogy since I was a child, when I'd spend hours pouring over an old family genealogy and reading about the people in it. I was hooked!
If you'd like me to transfer one of my memorials over to you, just let me know. Unless it's a family member or someone close to me, it won't be a problem.
I will also add new information and gladly correct errors. I want the information I list to be as accurate as possible. Please use the Edit button whenever possible for this.
I am working on two family lines. The first includes the surnames Arnold, Blinn, Brown, Marshall, McCurdy, Poor/Poore, Scollay and Webb, among others.
The second line includes the surnames DeWitt, Dodge, Grummert, Gustin, Jayne, Johnson, Proposki, Pursell, Robinson, Springer, Stephens, Wells and Wilson, among others.

Mary E Blinn Bolan
I am Mary E Bolan's granddaughter. Her daughter who died in 1917 was Mary Kathleen. She also had two sons Thomas Augustine Bolan 1923-1989 and Robert Paul Bolan 1924-1985*.

Carol: The Find-a-Grave lists one for Mary Thayer Jackson. Does the g.s. actually show "Thayer" (assumably her maiden name) or has someone editorially added it ? The town VR only show "wid. Mary Jackson." Do you have any info on her antecedents ?

Glad to help, and a bit was quite a fancy way to describe what we Vermonter's would just call a redneck drunken brawl...

St. Johnsbury Caledonian. volume, October 03, 1879, Image 3

Libel for Divorce.
Whereas Phebe P. Daniels of Danville, in the
County of Caledonia, has filed in the Clerk's office of said County, her libel for divorce : setting forth
in substance that she was legally married to
Thomas Daniels on the 24th day of February, A.
D. 1874. That from that time to the month of
February, A. D. 1878, she lived and cohabited with
said Thomas, and performed in full all her duties
as a faithful and true wife, but that the said
Thomas has continually treated her with great and
intolerable severity, and has refused to furnish her with any means of support.
And it being made to appear that the said
Thomas resides without this state in parts unknown, so that a citation cannot be served upon
him; it is hereby ordered that notice of the pendency of the foregoing libel be given to the said Thomas by publication of the substance thereof, and of this order, in the St. Johnsbury Caledonian, a newspaper published in said county, three weeks successively, the last of which publications to be at least six weeks prior to the first day of the next term of Caledonia County Court, to be held at St.
Johnsbury on the first Tuesday of December. A.D. 1879.
Dated at St. Johnsbury, in said County, this lst
day of October, A. D. 1879.
E. D. BrOWN, Deputy Clerk
