|Patricia McCoy||Memorial158758878 - Jacob Cummins|
I noticed in the memorial for Jacob Cummins that the image is actually that of his nephew, Jacob Cummins.
The Jacob Cummins in the photo is the son of Phillip Cummins (son of Johan Christian Cummins & Catherine Bayles). He was born in 1790, and died in March of either 1870 or 1873 (I have seen both dates documented) in New Jersey.
One of the complications of researching this family is that they were very fond of naming their children after their brothers and sisters and others in the family!
Thank you for the memorial. I'm hoping to make it to Bourbon County this summer to do some research. If I learn anything else about Jacob I will let you know.

Thank you for your hard work. We've been trying to make Bethel Cemetery a nicer place for everyone. I'm sorry we lost our church building in the Tornado Christmas a year ago. If you haven't visited recently, please stop by and see the monument.
The person named is in our Campbell family and her parents are Lorenzo J Newkirk and Sarah Bonar Newkirk.

I am working on the Payne family and information on Ancestry does not have Alda. There is another child that would be born about the same time so I am wondering if the comment aged 12 Years is correct. Thank you for your help

Thanks, and it didn't take much and I've linked to my husband's tree on ancestry. I really think that entire cemetery is related.

You are very welcome, can you add Maquon Cemetery as the burial for her? I photographed all of the cemetery and slowly getting pix added and linked to ancestry. I haven't explored to see if she's in my husband's tree yet but the majority of that cemetery is related to him.

Arrena Grimes was my 2nd great grandmother. Her parents were Harden Alexander Smith and Margaret Gunnerman/Gonterman. Arrena was born Nov 8 1838. She doesn't show up as a sibling for Cynthia Grimes Beck on Cynthia's memorial. Any info? Thx, Jer
