I am a homemaker. I am married, no children. My hobbies include genealogy among other things. I have other interests also. I volunteer for our library by delivering library materials to people who are homebound. I love to read and play computer games (those that challenge my mind).|
I have decided I won't be contributing memorials to FindAGrave. I will, however, correct any that need correcting, so please e-mail me. I will also transfer any memorials to those who request them.
I don't know why there's a statement on my Profile page stating that I'm a photo volunteer. That's not true. I have done a few photos, but am NOT a photo volunteer.
I have been back on F. A. G. for some time now and have been trying to add information from the new Edit column. I'm doing the best I can.
Sometimes I do get Suggest A Correction in the traditional way and that's fine, however, if you DON'T list an e-mail address or LEAVE A PUBLIC MESSAGE statement and I have a question, I can NOT get back to you.
If I can't get back to you, I may not be able to do what's suggested.
NOTE: LEAVING A PUBLIC MESSAGE IS FINE. FOR SOME REASON, THIS IS NOT SHOWN UNDER MY PROFILE.
ON MARCH 18, 2014, MY DEAR BROTHER HARRY J. O'TOOLE, SR. PASSED AWAY. I HAVE ENTERED A MEMORIAL FOR HIM ON THIS SITE AND IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO ADD A REMEMBRANCE, YOU ARE PERFECTLY WELCOME TO DO SO.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
ON MARCH 21, 2015, ANOTHER ONE OF MY BROTHERS PASSED AWAY. MY BROTHER JOHN P. O'Toole, Sr. passed away unexpectedly from heart problems. He went quickly and quietly. You are more than welcome to leave remembrances on his memorial for which I thank you.
ON JULY 18, 2015, ANOTHER MEMBER OF MY FAMILY PASSED AWAY. MY SISTER ANNA WENEY(NEE O'TOOLE) PASSED ON.
NOTE; I WANT TO THANK THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE LEFT REMEMBRANCES FOR MY BROTHER HARRY. SOME CONTRIBUTORS DON'T HAVE PUBLIC MESSAGES AND THERE IS NO WAY I CAN ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR KINDNESS.
ALSO, I WON'T BE ADDING NEW MEMORIALS. I WILL BE ADDING TO MY OWN FAMILY, THE O'TOOLES, THE FERROS, AND THE PACITTIS.

She was married to Richard Rollins before she married Mr. Zalkin. I have no idea what her middle name is.

|Leslie Filemyr||Transfer of McKenna memorial|
Thanks so much for transferring Francis McKenna's memorial to me. Yes, most of the 1000 memorials that I have created are for family members, even if they're quite distant. Then when I became a photo volunteer, I started creating memorials for non relatives by photographing whole sections of the cemetery that my volunteer group was working in. Like you, I'm happy to transfer memorials for people I'm not related to. Thanks for all your contributions!
Hi there Joan. Great to hear back from you. I got both of your latest messages.
Yes ma'am, I will be happy to advise you as to the Friends List process.
Ok, make sure you're logged in, and pull up my Bio page. Look towards the upper right of the page where it says
Find A Grave"
Right above that, you should see the words "Add To My Friends". Just click on that, and it's done.
I am looking forward to our continued communications. It's not often to "meet" such nice people online, such as yourself. I feel fortunate. Take care Joan, and have a great rest-of-the-week"!

My pleasure Joan. I would like to add you to my Find A Grave Friends List, if that's ok with you. And I would be honored if you wanted to add me to yours. Take care!

|KATHY||RE: Lisa O'Toole's memorial|
Hi there Joan. I received your acknowledgement regarding Lisa O'Toole's memorial. I must have been just doing some random Find A Grave browsing, when I happened upon this lady's memorial. And your thanks are gratefully accepted. It is my pleasure to assist fellow Find A Grave members in making memorials as detailed as possible. If I spot something that isn't quite complete, I then go into "research mode", and check the reliable sources that I use. I may look at some of your other memorials (as time permits) to see what I can suggest to you for additional details/information. I hope you won't mind. I thank you for your time, nice lady!

|Patrick Maloney||RE: Mrs. Suplee's memorial|
Thanks for the change. I remembered the reason for her name being Lois Mabel. Back in 1975 she sent my mother a very large family tree. On it she had her name as "Lois Mabel." It was from this chart that I began compiling the genealogy of Conrad Beisner's descendants.
|Patrick Maloney||RE: Lois Suplee's memorial|
Thanks for your question. The only reference I currently have in regards to her middle name was the 1930 Nebraska census that had her listed as "Lois M." My mother and her used to correspond and I think I got her full name from my mother. They were three years apart in age but grew up together in Hebron. They were cousins. Lois Mabel was the name I always had for her. I do notice her referred to as "Lois B." in records from New Jersey. Let's leave it as you have it. If I come across her birth certificate or other documents that state her middle name as Mabel, then I'll let you know.

|Tom Jennings||RE: Frank Donahue, Jr.'s memorial|
I looked up Lankenau Hospital. It's in Wynnewood. I sent the edit. Thanks so much for your help. How have you been, neck OK?
|Chris West||RE: Isabelle O'Mahoney's memorial|
The name just needs a space removed; the bolding is just formatting and doesn't matter.
My understanding is the place a person actually died is what we ought to record, even when it isn't where they lived. I won't be upset if you turn that edit down, though.
