|Scott Jensen||Flossie Robertson|
John, thank you for all the information you sent to me of Flossie's parents and her 2 previous marriages before she married Robertson. I tried to include everything you requested. I couldn't find the mother's burial site on find-a-grave, nor the grave of husband, Ernest Hromada. If you find the graves, send me the memorial numbers and I'll add them to Flossie's memorial.
|Jim Baxter Jr||Thank You!!!|
Thanks much John for the Wenzel picture.
Your effort is greatly appreciated.

As far as the priest, he may have brought from some order to fulfill and keep the church open.
With Father Walt deceased, when I went to St. Mary's,the diocese was changing them every two to three years.

I was interested where Larry Fleis is at there.
As I may told you,he was my cousin.
I ran into Marilyn and Larry's sister at graveside service for Larry's aunt.

You have some nice gravestone pictures at Hannah.
Like Larry Fleis and Emma Schichtel,I'd love to visit this again and find these and a few other people.The little road comes from the west making a semicircle. It's been a year and half since I've been there.Any help,if not I'll try Kathy at Oakwood records.

|Petoskey History||Vera York|
Thank you for creating the memorial for our former friend and neighbor, Vera York. Before we realized you had created a memorial for her we looked her up locally末were disappointed to find there was little information in it. Thanks to your find-a-grave memorial, we now know much more and are happy to see it recorded. Would you be so kind as to add what we wrote for Vera. Please feel free to edit it. And if sometime in the future you would like to transfer her memorial, please consider us. Thanks again!
"Vera played the piano and enjoyed good friends. She was strong willed and a fine manager of all things.. Her house was next door to the Petoskey High School Agriculture Building末kaddy corner from the old church on the corner of Waukazoo and Grove Streets n Petoskey, Michigan.
Vera loved her home and remained staunchly independent until the last few years of her life. Bill, her elderly son lived out of town, but he visited his mother regularly and checked up on her over the years. After she fell, he was not physically able to care for her, and it was decided she could no longer live alone. She soon took up residence at Bortz Health Care in Petoskey, Michigan.
Prior to moving to Bortz, she had remained proudly independent by taking in boarders who in addition to paying rent, helped with a few chores. They were expected to abide by her rules, but regardless, they soon became friends. And when they moved away, they often came back for visits.
Her best friend in the last years of her life was a lovely lady named, Elva. She lived directly across the street.The two of them often enjoyed visits and relied on each other by telephone to share information.
Elva loved to hear Vera's many fascinating stories (as well as listen to her play the piano.) She thought highly of Vera末as did all who came to know her throughout years of her long life.
