Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've always had interest in old cemeteries. As a young girl I had recorded all the names in a local cemetery into a notebook. I assumed it was thrown away, when I moved from home. Since then, my military & family life had taken up most of my time. Now that I'm retired, genealogy research led me to FAG and now another interest had taken over my life, just kidding. I belong to a local historical association and one of our duties were to record all the names in our parish's cemeteries. I have so many interests/hobbies there's not enough time in the day it seems like.

Orville M. Boyce #45818422
Orville M. Boyce's middle name is not McDowell as listed in the header.
The tombstone reads only Orville M.Boyce.
The father of Orville, Orland Boyce married 2X and both wives were given named Elizabeth.
Orville Boyce & Libbie McConnell were married 2/24/1879 in Ft. Ann Washington NY as reported in local newspaper & appear as a couple at 1880 NY census time.
Orville M Boyce on his WWI Draft lists birthdate as 8/5/1889 and he appears in h/h of Orlando & Elizabeth at 1892, 1905 & 1900 census.
Wife #1 to Orlando,Elizabeth McConnell died 1920 & is buried Morningside Cemetery, Hartford, Washington NY. See memorial #66570415. Orlando & Elizabeth [McConnell] Boyce had children Mary C, Daisy & Orville.
Sometime in 1920 or after Orlando married as his 2nd to Elizabeth McDowell, who survived Orlando and died in 1929. This was an "old age" marriage & there were no children. /s/gladys boice

So true! Seems like we are losing so many too quickly. Thank you for your work out there, too!

Brad Garafola
Hi Judie,

Just wanted to let you know that I sent an edit to the originator of Brad's memorial to inform him that the place of burial is in Greenoaks. He approved the edit and I left a message to the other contributor letting her know that her memorial is a duplicate. Definitely not her fault since the first memorial was listed as cremated. You may want to delete your virtual flowers and add them to the correct memorial before the second memorial is deleted.

Thanks again for your service in the military and for honoring all those who serve our country in many different uniforms!

RE: CPL Jackson

The system would not let me add an edit for his name either. It mentions your name with an impending name edit. Thanks for the info about Brad's duplicate. I did put in a request for the originator of his memorial to place his burial in Greenoaks. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for transferring Abraham Caldwell, my 4th great-grandfather, to me.

Will you also transfer his wife #69894966, his son #69894943, and his DIL #69894951 to me? I would be so greatful. Thanks!
