I started researching my husband's family after years of searching for my own ancestors when I found Find A Grave. Behold, I found many of my husband's family. I was not as successful in locating my own family. I eventually came in possession of an extensive family tree on my mother's side. I then knew I had to place my family on Find A Grave.

It has been exciting finding information, but it has been more wonderful creating memorials for the family I knew and loved.

I realized I've always had a passion for family history. One of my favorite memories was sitting around the table at family gatherings listening to all the stories. I was fortunate enough to have known my great-grandmother and was always especially fond of her tales of life in Ireland.

I have been on the trail of my Mother's family in Ireland, Germany, Baltimore, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Richmond, Virginia, and Delaware. Surnames I'm searching for are Burns, Brennan, Burke, Darcy, O'Hare and Michaelis.

My Father's family traces to Ireland, England, Germany, Switzerland, New York City, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland. Surnames I'm searching for are Rapp, Burke, Breslin, Edge.

My husband's family traces to England, France, Maryland, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Surnames I'm searching for are Wyatt, Adkins, Mullins, and Morgan.

I would like to thank my relative Charlotte Elizabeth Trainum Stewart for her tireless effort in producing our family history. To my Late cousin George William Larkins for keeping my interest in cemeteries and foreign lands alive with his wonderful stories.

This is dedicated to my Mother, Kathleen Louise Michaelis Rapp #16556856, who was the first person I added, she taught me the importance of love of family. I could not have asked for a more loving, compassionate and devoted mother.

I have just recently added my father's memorial, William James Rapp, Sr. #167642198. He passed away July 31, 2016. Dad you are loved and missed by all your family. You will always be in our hearts.

Telban-Burns comment
Thanks for the Telban info although they are not really my family but I update info as I find it.

My mother came from the FC area and actually worked at the Burns restaurant as did so many other young girls. I am familiar with your ancestors but have not looked into them. Assume you have volumes of info. Your 10,000+ contributions to the site are excellent.

RE: Ivana Telban

thanks for adding that info. Do you know if Ivana (Jennie) Telban's husband is buried in that plot. The large monument has only the wife's info on it. I learned of the death in 1941 of John from another site but no particulars. you live in the Forest City area?

I added a photo to this memorial. Not all of the information matches exactly. If you don't think that this is the same person, let me know and I'll remove the photo and create a new memorial? - Kevin

RE: Weiler Family
Hi Kathy,
Thank you so much for the Weiler transfers! How very generous of you! I can't wait to call Mom and let her know...she will be so excited to hear that her Great-Aunt and cousins have been found!

By any chance would you know where Great-Uncle Asa Weiler (husband of Bridget Theresa Noone) is buried? I haven't located him yet...

Thank you again!

Angela and Anthony Dacre edits
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that while doing the edits you sent I discovered this family was already in the system and the memorials I did were duplicates but with a different spelling. I have sent requests for edits to them about the spelling - they have the family as "D'Acre". I will have to delete my records and hope the spelling gets clarified. Thanks. Jane

Weiler Family
Good Morning, Kathy,
Thank you for linking up the members of the Weiler family for me. Are you a relative? If not, I would be honored to to manage the family's memorials. They are Great-Aunts and cousins on my mother's side of the family. I would put the requests in through the edit buttons, of course!

In any case, thank you for taking the time to create the memorials for them; it is very much appreciated! I am off to locate Great-Uncle Asa Weiler!

Enjoy your day!
